Pagkatapos ng dinner ay nag kaniya-kaniyang balik na sa kwarto sila Mom and Dad with our relatives. Nagpaalam na rin si Jay na mauuna na siya sa kwarto nila ni Jasper kaya hinayaan ko nalang. Naisipan naman namin ni Jasper na pumunta muna ng dalampasigan para magpalamig.
Habang naglalakad ay hindi ko napigilan na titigan ang dagat. Kahit madilim na at ang buwan ang nagsisilbi nitong ilaw ay kita pa rin ang gandang taglay nito. With its breathtaking view and the sound of its waves, I felt at peace at the moment.
"The sea never fail to make me feel calm." I uttered without breaking my stare at the sea.
"Hmm…let's play a game," napalingon ako kay Jasper nang sabihin niya iyon. I stared at him confused.
"What game?" I asked him curiously. Well, gabi na para maghabulan pa kami rito sa dagat at masyado nang madilim para magtaguan.
"Let's tell two truths and one lie about ourself. Tapos, huhulaan ng isa satin kung anong lie doon." He said while smiling. Napangiti rin naman ako sa naisip niyang laro. Well, I take this opportunity to know him well.
"Okay, game. I'll go first.” I said to him. Fair na rin kasi siya ang nakaisip ng laro. Might as well take the courage to start it. He nodded when he heard my answer and curiously looked at me.
“One, I love admiring nature because it somehow calms me. Second, I'm a Daddy's girl and third, I have trust issue.” I said while showing him my fingers. I saw how he creased his forehead. Matalino si Jasper and I think malalaman niya naman ang obvious na lie doon. But, siyempre, depende pa rin kung gaano niya ako kakilala.
"Hmm…it's kinda hard, but I think it's the second one since you mentioned earlier that your dad is strict and I can feel that you're a bit scared of him." I smiled. I didn't know he's so observant huh. He did not disappoint.
“I didn’t know that you’re that observant to me huh?” He smiled at me.
"You’re not that hard to read, you know? Well, sometimes you are, but I think that’s what makes you more interesting." Ganoon na ba ako nagiging open kay Jasper? Or is it
because I’m slowly lowering my guard toward him?
"Your turn now." I said while smiling.
"Hmm…okay. First, my step-father is my biological father. Second, you're the first woman I admire aside from my mother. Last is, I have a sibling." I laughed when I heard the first one. Is he serious about that?
"I'm confused if I should choose the first one or the second. The first one is kinda confusing while the second one is like you're telling me a big joke. I think it's the second."
"Wrong!" he laughed. Napakunot naman ang noo ko sa sagot niya. With his looks and all, I don’t think he’s telling the truth. Pagkatapos niya tumawa ay binalingan niya ako ng tingin.
"What made you think that? Since I've met your parents now, let me tell you some background about my family before I introduce you to them." Since we’re not that near the shore and the waves can’t reach us, he sat on the sand and looked at me. I also looked at him but with confusion visible on my face.
"Come here, beautiful. Mas comfortable magkwento kapag nakaupo," he said. I walked to him and sat beside him. Minutes have passed, but he didn’t say anything. I looked at him and saw that he had been looking at me the whole time. He’s weird. Kanina ko pa napapansin na panay ang titig niya sa akin. He smiled at me, looked at the sea, and then began to talk.
"Well, to start, my mom came from a wealthy family and as part of their tradition, kailangan nilang magpakasal sa taong pinili ng magulang nila. My mom was against her family’s arrange-marriage tradition so tumakas siya sa kanila and nakitira sa kaibigan niya. One night, birthday ng kaibigan niya ‘yon tapos pumunta sila ng bar tocelebrate. Then, the unexpected happened. May naka one night stand si mom. Then, yun, nabuo ako.” He paused, then sighed.
“Pero ‘di niya kilala yung papa ko at ‘di na rin siya nag abala pa na hanapin ‘yon. Tinaguyod niya ako kasama ang kaibigan niya. Palipat-lipat siya ng trabaho hanggang
mapadpad siya sa isang kompanya at nagtrabaho bilang secretarya ng CEO. Tapos ayon nainlove sila sa isat-isa." He released a chuckle then looked at me.
"Thinking about that now, made me realize that it's so cringe. Then ayon, I'm five years old noong naging sila at nagkaroon ako ng tumatayong ama. When I turned eight years old, they noticed that some of my facial feature is from my step father, so, sinubukan
nilang ipa-DNA kami. They were so shocked when they knew that my step father is my biological father after all. And you know what I admire about my father? Is that my mom is his first love. Before something happened to them that night ay hindi masyadong

“Ayokong magbitaw ng salitang ‘di ko masisiguradong matutupad ko, Chels. Pero pinapangarap kong ikaw ang kauna-unahan at huling babaeng mamahalin ko." He smiled warmly and kissed my forehead. "So, your answer is wrong. The third one is the lie."
I was stunned, again, with his gesture. Aside from that, I was amazed by the love story of his parents.
"Nasaan ngayon yung family ng mommy mo?" I asked him curiously.
"Well, ever since she cut her connection with them ay hindi na siya nakibalita at bumalik sa kanila." He shrugged. Napatango nalang ako sa kaniya at tumingin ulit sa dagat. Well,
I can’t judge his mom for making that choice. Napalingon naman ako sa kaniya at nagtanong.
"Hmm…since we're talking about it now. May I ask, what kind of love do you want?" I saw him stunned with my question. Napaisip naman siya sa naging tanong ko at lumipas ang ilang minuto ay humarap siya sa akin para Ibigay ang sagot niya.
"Well…I want the love that's full of assurance." He confidently said to me. My forehead creased when I heard his answer.
"Why is that?" I asked him curiously
"Kasi for me, kasali na sa assurance yung trust, honesty and you would never feel invalidated with your feelings. How about you?" The way his eyes glance at me is so gentle.
"I want a love that's comforting, a kind of love that will set you free, no pressure, no doubts, and a love I'm ready to fight for." I smiled while saying my answer to him. That's the kind of love I've been dreaming of experiencing. I want to have someone who's willing to hear my rants without judgment. Someone who will support me with everything I want in life and will not downgrade me for my choices. Pero siyempre, ganoon din ang gagawin ko
sa magiging partner ko.
Pagkatapos naming magpahangin at mag-usap ay naisipan na naming bumalik sa hotel para matulog dahil lumalalim na rin ang gabi. Hinatid niya ko sa pinto ng aking kuwarto at hinintay na makapasok bago siya pumasok sa kuwartong nilang dalawa ni Jay.
