"Captain we've received a distress signal, but something is strange." Lieutenant Anderson spoke out from his station of the bridge on the LMSV-04 Cerberus. He stared at the screen while holding his headset listening to the automated distress signal. Captain Elina Scharnhorst, a seasoned Mobile Suit pilot turned ship captain, furrowed her brow as she listened to Lieutenant Anderson's report.

"Strange, you say? What's unusual about it, Anderson" Scharnhorst asked, her eyes fixed on the viewscreen displaying the distant stars. The LMSV-04 Cerberus was on a routine patrol mission in the outskirts of the Side 2 colony cluster.
