Last time on "I'm not the main character"

Miguel knew he had to act quickly. With a flick of his wrist, he launched the missile towards the Sinanju, hoping to create a distraction. The missile streaked through space, but Full Frontal effortlessly dodged it, the Sinanju's thrusters propelling him out of harm's way. The rifle of the Sinanju raised pointed directly at the Jesta's cockpit. "It seems like you have no intent of answering them, have it your wa-" Full Frontal sudden dashed up and away, a huge beam of energy passed right by, unluckily for Valeria she was near the beam. Her suit erupted in a vibrant explosion.

Full frontal looked at where the shoot came from as did Miguel though he couldn't see what was out there very well. The Sinanju's green mono eye stared out into space as Full Frontal smiled when he felt it.

This time on "I'm not the main character"

Miguel slowly opened his eyes to a blinding white light overhead. His head pounded, and his body ached with a deep, unsettling soreness. He squinted, trying to get his bearings. As the haze cleared from his vision, he realized he was in what looked like a medical bay—sterile, cold, and unfamiliar.

He groaned as he shifted slightly in the bed, feeling the stiffness in his muscles. The last thing he remembered was the chaos of the battle, the feeling of dread as Full Frontal's crimson mobile suit loomed over him, and the massive beam of energy that tore through the battlefield, ending the confrontation. But now, here he was, alive—somehow.

A soft hiss sounded as the door to the med bay slid open. Miguel turned his head, his mind still foggy, and saw a figure walking toward him. She was tall, with short-cropped hair, wearing a uniform he didn't recognize. Her expression was neutral, but there was a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

"You're awake," she said, glancing at a medical pad in her hand. "You've been out for a while. We weren't sure if you were going to make it."

Miguel blinked, trying to process what was happening. "Where... where am I?" His voice was raspy, dry from disuse.

"You're aboard the Cerberus," she replied. "We picked you up after that skirmish near the debris field. You were pretty banged up in that mobile suit of yours."

"The Cerberus?" Miguel echoed, the name meaning nothing to him. His confusion deepened. "And that battle... what—what was that? Who are you people?"

The woman raised an eyebrow, clearly taken aback by his questions. "You really don't know, do you?" She sat down beside his bed, her tone softening. "Look, I don't know where you came from or how you ended up in a Federation mobile suit, but you were in the middle of a fight between Zeon remnants and Federation forces. Lucky for you, we found you before the Sinanju or any of the other Zeon suits finished you off."

Miguel's head spun with questions. Federation? Zeon? Sinanju? He had no idea what any of those terms meant. "I don't... I don't understand. I'm not... I don't know anything about this place." He gestured weakly around the med bay, as if that could somehow explain everything. "I'm not from here. This world... it's not mine."

The woman's expression shifted to one of confusion, and maybe even skepticism. "What do you mean, 'not from here'? You're in space, on a Federation ship. You were piloting a mobile suit. How could you not be from here?"

Miguel shook his head, frustration and fear bubbling up inside him. "I don't know how to explain it. One minute, I was on Earth—my Earth—and the next thing I know, I'm in this... suit, fighting for my life. None of this makes any sense."

The woman stared at him for a long moment, trying to process what he was saying. Finally, she sighed and stood up. "You've been through a lot. Maybe you hit your head harder than we thought." She glanced back at the medical pad. "But for now, just rest. We'll get someone to come talk to you soon. Maybe they can help make sense of things."
