Me and Cindy are following the others into Courtney's house

And we saw Courtney's staff flying next to a dog

I guess someone's feeling better. Courtney said

Skip

Me and Cindy are in regular clothes and I am sitting on the couch while Cindy is walking around looking at pictures of Courtney and her family

When we got back I ran to the house and grabbed clothes for us

Then Cindy looked at Courtney and her mom

And Courtney walked over to Cindy

You try anything, Cindy --

Mm, don't worry. The quicker we get rid of Eclipso, the quicker I take my boyfriend and we ghost this armpit of a town. I heard Cindy say

I got up and went to look at them

You mean the Eclipso you unleashed on Blue valley? Courtney said

Mm, technically, it was your staff that did that. Cindy said

While you were trying to kill us. Courtney said and I walked over and stood behind Cindy

All right, all right. I admit it. Taking the Black diamond was a big oops on my part. Cindy said

It was more than an oops. Courtney said

It was really, really, really... bad. Kay. No more trouble, Cindy. You too Andrew. Barbara said

Okay, Ms. Whitmore. Cindy said

Then the door opened and Beth and a girl walked in

Beth hugged Courtney

What, no hug for me? Cindy asked and I laughed a little

What are they doing here? Beth asked

They want to help us fight Eclipso. Courtney said

But she--

Let him out in the first place? Courtney asked

And--

I don't trust them, either. Courtney said

You know last I was in this house I killed principal bowin, like right there. I said and pointed at the spot Courtney was standing and she moved over a little

They're evil, court. Beth said

Correction, Eclipso is evil, Cindy is just misunderstood. Now I on the other hand, yeah, I'm evil. I said

They tried to kill all of us. Beth said and I leaned against the small table

Okay, look, Doctor Mid-Nite Junior, or whatever you're gonna call yourself now, we're offering up a truce until Eclipso is nothing more than a stain on the ground. Let's face facts, right now, evil is relative. Cindy said

Jennie, are you okay? Mom asked

Uh, yeah. Just tired. She said

After everything we've been through, how could you not be? Hi, Beth. So nice to finally meet you. Dr. McNider said when he walked in with Pat

Same. Beth said

Barry. Pat and Doctor Mcnider said making me laugh a little

That name makes me want to murder people. I said and Cindy hit my arm softly with a small laugh

How do you know him? Beth asked doctor Mcnider

He grew up around the JSA. Doctor Mcnider said

That's why I killed my dad, and every other person that I have killed. I said and I walked away and went to sit on the couch

Now that is evil. Beth said

I can hear you. I said

Skip

Me and Cindy are at the table eating

Cindy has one sandwich with chips and grapes

I have three sandwiches and a bowl of grapes along with some chips

I don't understand how you're not fat. Cindy said as she watched me eat

I run, babe. I said

Why do you need to eat that much? She asked

Because when I run, I burn a lot more calories than normal people so I have to eat a lot of food every day or else I pass out. I said

Then she looked at Pat, Courtney, and Barbara who were watching us eat

This is--this is so delicious, Ms. Whitmore. Cindy said with a smile and I smiled at her

What? Cindy asked

Nothing. I said and she hit my arm

It's nothing, I haven't seen you in a week, I missed you. I said

Well, I missed you too. She said and grabbed my hand

I leaned over and kissed her cheek

Skip

I was laying on the couch sleeping when I heard someone walking up to me and I quickly got up and I saw Cindy

Hey, relax. She said

I ran my hand through my hair and she walked over to me

You okay? She asked

Yeah, I just need some fresh air. I said and I walked past her and went outside on the front porch

Then I heard her follow me

Baby, you okay? She asked and grabbed my hand

Yes, I just can't get something out of my mind. I said

Like what? She asked

When I was in the shadowlands I kept seeing you everyday, and all you would say is that you hated me or that you wish I died. I said

Baby, I would never hate you. Cindy said and made me look at her

I know but I thought it was real, every time, and--

She cut me off by kissing me

It wasn't. She said and I kissed her again and pushed her against the railing and I started to take off her cardigan but she stopped me

Not out here. She said and kissed me again then I fixed her cardigan and I played with some of her white hair and I slowly leaned in and kissed her softly

I love you. I said against her lips

She pulled away and looked at me

What? She asked

Sorry, it's too early to say it. I said and moved away from her and I started to walk off the porch

Andrew. She said

It's fine, I'm just gonna go take a walk. I said and I walked away
