chapter fourteen
"katsuki wait up!" you say, picking up the pace a little to meet up with bakugo.
"the hell do you want four eyes?!" he asks as his head is the only thing to turn around. his hands are in his pockets and his scowl is as prominent as ever.
"you realize that we just single-handedly made the entirety of u.a. hate our class?" you ask as you go to stand in front of him. blocking his view to anything but you.
"tch. not my problem they're a buncha weaklings whose feelings get hurt easily!" he says.
"you're right. they have no right to be angry." you say as you begin to rub the back of your neck. not even remembering why you had stopped him in the first place- though you're thankful that he's the one to break the silence.
he pulls out a blue bag from his own and pushes it against your chest, "you forgot this at my house. don't just leave your items lying around everywhere! they can get stolen, you moron!" he shouts, which only makes you giggle.
"I completely forgot about this." you say as you grab the bag and sling it over your other shoulder, "thank you for returning it to me." you flash a smile which is only returned by a grimace and a show of his back.
"next time you leave something at my house, you're not getting it back. that'll teach you a lesson!" he shouts as he continues to walk his way home.
"there'll be a next time?!" you exclaim, half joking and half hoping to be invited there again. having dinner with a regular family was one thing you never expected. you'd be lying if you said you weren't ever thinking about it.
"no, you loser!"
"y/n, we have to start training." todoroki says as he makes his way next to you, startling you enough to make you stumble backwards.
to your dismay... you fall back onto the poor boy, twisting your body somehow to land face to face. "sho-" you're cut off by the realization that your faces are a mere inch apart, enough to feel his icy breath on your lips.
