He went and sat beside Haya, disinterested.
Function was going on. Meerab was coming but stopped at the door seeing Murtasim happy, eating sweets.
She picked a glass lying on the side table and pressed it so hard that it broke and pieces pinched in her hand.

Elsewhere, Murtasim was shouting Meerab's name in order to find her.

He looked for her in their room, kitchen, terrace; everywhere but she was found nowhere.
Just then, he saw Mariyam passing by.
Murtasim : Mariyam, have you seen Meerab!?
Mariyam : Nahi bhai, I've not met her since morning!
She left.
Murtasim : Kahin wo phirse mujhe chor k tou...nahi, nahi! It cannot happen! Wo jaati bhi tou Meesam ko saath leke jaati...Meerabbbbb!!!
He started looking for her again when he got struck to Anwar.
Anwar : Sambhal k...what happened!? Why are you looking in such a hurry!?
Murtasim : Chacha sahab, have you seen Meerab!?

She was unaware that Murtasim has heard his talks.
A drop of tear fell down from Murtasim's eyes. Just then, he saw blood flowing off from Meerab's hand.
He immediately moved inside, took out the first aid box from the drawer and sat beside Meerab. He took her hand and while applying ointment, he spoke.
Murtasim : I'm sorry! I think maine tumhe kuch zyada hi pareshan kar diya h but Meerab, trust me! I'm not at all happy with this marriage! I love you only!
Meerab : Tou tod do ye shaadi!
Murtasim : You know why I'd agreed to marry her!? Just because I was hurt...tum mujhe chor k chali gayi thi...maine aik aik ghante gine h which I've spent without you! When I met you, I got to know about Meesam and your lie! Nahi hua bardasht mujhse, haan kar di maine shaadi k liye!
Meerab : Bewafa tum mujhe kehte rahe, khud kyaa nikle Murtasim!? You've also taken revenge from me only!
Murtasim : Nahi...!
Meerab : Just stay away from me! Lete raho tum apna badla, I don't care now!
She got up and was leaving but was shocked on seeing Meesam standing at the door.
Meerab : Meesam!
Murtasim too got shocked on seeing her there. Meesam ran from there while Meerasim behind her.
Meesam was about to fall down on the floor but Murtasim saved her. Meerab came to them running.
Meerab : Are you okay!? Lagi to nahi kahin!?
Meesam (crying) : You both are very bad! Jab dekho ladte rehte aik doosre se! Baba is marrying phupho aur mama is not stopping him even!...mama, baba...please don't fight! I want both of you...baba, please don't marry Haya phupho!
Murtasim hugged Meesam.
Murtasim : Don't worry, I will not! Pakka, I will deny for this marriage today only! Don't cry now!
Meerab was shocked hearing Murtasim's words.
Meerab : Now mama and baba will not fight too, bas ab aap ro nahi!...now go and play with Zaid, go!
Meesam kissed Meerasim and went away.
Meerab too was leaving but Murtasim holds her hand.
Murtasim : Naraz ho!? Please mat ho...dekho chor di maine apni zid, haar gaya tumhari mohabbat k aage, maan gaya ki tum bhi mujhse sacchi mohabbat karti ho...maan jaao na, please!?
But Meerab freed her hand and went away unanswered.
