THE TRAGEDY OF DREAMSELARA'S POV
I was sitting on the bench, looking at the sunset while dumbfounded, wishing that a man would take my hands so that I could get out of this chaotic world.
I want to be free from my unfair fate. I grew up without a family, and the person who took care of me when I was young died. I work hard every night just to meet my needs and my upbringing, and I wake up early to go to school.
Sometimes I think about killing myself and giving up, but whenever I think about it, something stops me, like someone's whispering.
"Wag muna may hahanapin ka pang pamilya, tiisin mo muna ang hirap ng buhay."
The person who took care of me when I was a child said that when he took me from the orphanage, I had a brother who was left behind.
He was just a baby when they took me.
And I don't even know my brother's name."Elara!!"
"Elara!!"
"Elara!!"
"Elara!" a familiar voice said.
I looked at the person who called me.
It was Claire, my best friend.
I envy her, but not in a bad way. I'm jealous because she is rich, she has a happy and complete family, she has many friends, and she has a fiance who is loving and kind. Almost everything I want to achieve already belongs to her.
And I'm happy because she became a part of my life. Through it, I have a companion for any problems that arise in my life.
"Elara gagala kami ni Blake dahil may fiesta daw sa kabilang bayan sama ka?" She said while smiling.
"Ngayon na?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"Tara na marami daw magandang rides dun," she said, and she giggled like a child.
.......................................
When we arrived in the city, we immediately roamed around and rode the rides.
There is also a wide variety of fine merchandise and games. There are also a lot of people who come to watch the shows.
It took us all night to tour because I think we rode almost all the rides, and Claire almost bought all the products she wanted.
After we walked around and bought what Claire had bought, she asked for dinner because she was starving. And we looked for a place to eat.
After ordering, we took a photo before eating so she could share my day on her Instagram.
"Did you know that many people are seen dead in this town?" she said while chewing her food.
Babe, don't talk while you have food in your mouth," Blake said to Elara.
"Hindi eh" sagot ko naman.
"And what's even worse is that they say that they can't find even a single drop of blood or even a trace of the crime; almost all of them seem to have two dots on their necks. They think that vampires are the reason, like, duh, we all know they don't exist, but if it's true, it's nakakatakot," and she acted as if she was afraid.
What she said suddenly made me nervous, and I don't know why.
And after we ate, we even thought of walking around a bit more before going home to digest what we ate.
