THE BEGINNING

ELARA'S POV

"no!!"

Suddenly I woke up, gasping for breath because of a strange dream. Ever since I witnessed what happened yesterday, I've been paranoid. Even in the slightest noise, I was immediately gripped by fear.

It shouldn't always be like this. You need to fix yourself, Elara, because you have to go to school and you might be late.

"You need to get ready for your school, Elara," I said while tapping my face.

I was about to go inside the bathroom when suddenly my phone rang. When I looked to see who called, it was Lisa.

Lisa is my friend, and I only met her online. lately We often message each other because I'm busy with my work.

"Hey, Lisa, napatawag ka?"

"Wala lang, so how are you? Why are you so busy, ba?". She asked

"Im okay, girl, you can't relate because your rich, duh. By the way, I need to end this call; I need to prepare pa because I have to go to school byee," and the call ended.

After I showered, I immediately got dressed because I was going to be late.

While looking in the mirror, I noticed that I had lost weight.

It's been a month since my father passed away due to illness. Even though I want to choose a nice school, I can't because no one will pay for my education. I have to work just to buy food and pay the rent, and I can barely afford nice clothes and shoes.

I finished everything that had to be done and closed the door before leaving.

I always walk alone because I don't have friends like others.

Nothing happened, just the same as the other day, just normal.

"Nope I have work after this I'm sorry"

"No it's okay I understand byee" she said.

Nagbihis lang ako at pumunta agad sa trabaho.

I worked in a call center, it's okay, even if I stay up late, the salary is quite big
