We decided to go to the other sections room
(A/N: from where I live. each level in highschool is divided into two so there's this thing called sections. )

They seem pumped about going to the other room while I'm kind of uncomfortable cause I'll be seeing Ashton there and we haven't talked to each other in awhile since our break-up.

It's a bit dim and all I can see was strobe lights. It's more like a club than a room to me.

They were dancing like there was no tomorrow and I just followed the crowd .The gals and I were laughing and just having fun until they suddenly changed the song to "Hero".

I knew what these people were up to.

They just pushed me in the center of the dance floor along with Ashton making it awkward for the both of us.

My arms went around his neck and his around my waist, our foreheads almost touching.

"Uhhh hey.."

I can't help but smile almost being sarcastic.

Relief filled me when we were interrupted by a techno song breaking our moment.

Everybody went back to dancing.
I walked to a group of girls which I was aware were my friends.

"Hmmmm.. I'm guessi-"

I stopped Dawn from continuing what she was even gonna say.

"Okay.. I know it was kinda odd that we were sort of slow dancing but what am I suppose to do it's getting awkward"

All they did was give me that look.

"Ohh yes keep telling yourself that, Naya..we see a romance going on when we see one" they all cooed.

I hate it when they do that.

"I'm gonna go get something to drink..".

As I walked to the table where refreshments were served I saw a familiar figure. his lanky body leaning against the wall .

Luke.

He was alone ,sipping some refreshments from a red cup.

I decided to go and talk to him.

"Hey.." I nudged him.

"Hey Naya, how you doing?"

"Nothin' much, just having fun with some punch".

I laughed at how it kind of rhymed.

"I could see that..Are you gonna come with us later?"

"Well .. I believe so..yes, why'd you ask?"

"Nothing..I thought you weren't gonna..".

People were starting to leave. Before I could even speak Jane pulled me towards the exit.
