Eight

Five sets down ,two to go.

I swear we're both on a roll today cause Everytime I get a strike he gets one too either that or he's really good.

I'm actually nervous about what I'll do if he wins this thing.. I know he's my best friend but being a pretend girl friend FOR TWO FREAKING MONTHS!! I don't know what to do then.

"You're up sweet cheeks ;)"

God..he's so adorable.

"Watch out Lucas."

As I carried the bowling ball I exhaled slowly..

"You can do this Naya.." I whispered to myself.

I took a large swing hitting All of the pins.

I was surprised cause I hit all of it.

"Hah! Take that Luke!"

He chuckled.

" Don't flatter yourself just yet."

All of my worries will be cleared if he just missed one pin making me win the bet.

Luke was up next.

Before he took a swing he winked at me and I could feel myself heat up because of what he did.

The ball rolled and my vision of it was in a slow motion hoping it won't hit all the pins.

Apparently it didn't.

"Oh shit"

It hit all of the pins except for one which makes me winner.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! OMAYGOSHH I WON!!"

I received a couple of glares from everyone but I didn't care.

"Yeah yeah ..I guess that mak-.."
Before he could even finish I hugged him.

He hugged back.

I pulled away from the hug and noticed a couple of eyes on me.

Ashton.

There were hurt in his eyes and I just don't even know how to react to this.
It was like Ashton was me when I saw him and some girl except I didn't caught him hugging her they were snogging. That was the reason why we broke up and until now we haven't talked in awhile.

I think he noticed that I saw him so he took off.

"Earth to Naya..You okay?"

"Uhmm yeah I'm..I'm okay
Can you excuse me for a minute?"

"Sure :)"

I went to Jane and Bella's booth to see what they've been up to. Before I could even go near them a pair of large hands were on my shoulder.

Ashton.

"Hey Can I talk to you for a sec?"

He seemed tense.

"Uhh sure I guess.."

We went outside to this balcony right outside the bowling alley.

I didn't realize it was dark now, we we're near the seaside,The evening breeze blew smoothly.

"So Uhmm what do you wanna talk about?"

He sighed then faced me.

"I'm leaving.."

"Huh?"

"I'm moving out to London."

"Ssince when? And how?"

I stuttered a bit quite confused in the situation.

"My mum decided to move out since she got promoted there we might as well live there and settle."
"I'm leaving on the 20th of January by the way."

"Seems like you've got a little time to enjoy your days here huh?"

"Pretty much.."

"So you're gonna go to Oxford then?"

"Maybe.."

I chuckled.
Silence filled the space between us.

"Well I'm sure gon-"

" I still love you Naya.."

"Ash..I"

"I know I shouldn't but I just can't let you go. No matter what I do I still think of you. I'm aware of what I've done and I know you can't forgive me for that. I regret what I have done but I really love you Naya.. "

"We talked about this already Ash..this isn't going to be easy for you. and now that I know you're gonna move to London."

"BUT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE!" His voice eager.

"I can't stop thinking of you..whenever I do things like go out to the club and meet girls or there's some chick at school that wants me.. THEY'RE NOTHING COMPARED TO YOU!"

"Nothing..."

Caressing my cheek.

It reminded me of how he used to do that when we were still together. He'll say sweet things then caress my cheek.

"Ash......I know what you mean but I don't see you like that anymore okay..It's better if we just rema-"

"IS IT BECAUSE OF LUKE"
Anger filled his voice.

"What are you talking about!?"

"THE REASON WHY YOU DON'T LOVE ME BACK IS BECAUSE YOU LOVE LUKE!!"!

"How dare you assume things! We're just friends..that's all."

"Oh give me a break Naya, I know what you two are up to..pretending that you're friends but you obviously are together but just can't admit it."

"This is nonsense Ash you don't know what you're talking about!"

"Stop denying it Naya! Even when we were still together you're hooking up with him you fcking slu-"

I slapped him right in the face.

"This too much Ash.. i hate you so much!"

Tears were already brimming my eyes.

"You know what I should've known better. You're nothing but a jerk.."

I went inside and run towards the nearest restroom.

Good thing there wasn't anyone inside
Leaning against the granite wall, I haven't seen Ashton do that specially to me.

I think about Me and Ashton when we were still together. He was the most clichè boy I have ever met specially when it comes to surprising me.

He'll leave little notes inside my bag, my notebook and even my lunch.

I'll remember most is whenever we hold hands while walking at the hallway and a teacher comes up and we'll quickly untangle our fingers,pretending nothing happen.

I'll sure do miss him.

But for what he did and what he said to

me I'm guessing it'll be a hard for me to forgive him.
