Chapter 14

Third Person P.O.V

Trunks and (Y/N) ran down the streets holding hands. Goten and Chiaotzu followed behind them smiling. Of course, they were taken wherever the wind is not blowing. Once they reach to the street, the two stopped, waiting for their other friends.

"I haven't had this much fun in years," (Y/N) said. "I wish today was every day."

Trunks held her hand tighter. "I wish that too."

Goten and Chiaotzu caught up with the two. "Dang," Goten said. "You guys run quite fast!"

"How fast?"

"Umm...Quite fast."

As the sign directed the four to cross the street, the two ran off to find the city's skating rink. Like often, Trunks and (Y/N) got there way before Goten and Chiaotzu could.

"We know that you're broke," Goten said once he caught up, "so we have covered for something." He took out a pair of skates that fits you. "We all got a set of skates. Trunks and I have been saving for this moment to arrive. I can't wait to skate with all of you!"

Everyone else ran in the rink before Goten could finish his speech.

Trunks P.O.V

Once I put on my skates, I helped (Y/N) put on her skates. She doesn't seem to know how to skate. I'll do the best I can to teach her. My happiness build up due to even seeing her. I wanted to hug her tightly and not let go. After helping her with the skates, I got up from the chair and helped her up.

"I haven't been skating since forever," she said.

"I'll teach you how," I said.

"Not to butt in and all," Goten said while skating over to us, "but I was hoping we can all play tag!"

"Not just yet. She doesn't know how to skate."

Goten looked at me with the Lenny face. "You just want her for yourself, do you Trunks?"

I couldn't say it due to the fact (Y/N)-chan is here. If I were to say it, how would she react? I gave a slight thumbs up to Goten.

"Okay. Suit yourself." He then skated away.

I looked at (Y/N). "Shall we skate?"

"I don't even know how," she said.

"No worries. I'll show you how."

I showed her what I know about skating so far. I know there is more to it, but as long as she can skate on her own I'll be fine. So far, she learned so quickly I was stumped before I know it.

"This is awesome," she said, skating on her own. She managed to out skate Goten in the rink. Later, when she had the chance, she poked Goten, starting a game of tag.

The many people there decided to join in. Most of them had fun although there were just some people that have attempted to out skate the one that is it. One guy that was it was so close to quitting until he finally found someone to tag.

My beautiful (Y/N) out skated most of the people there. I was amazed at how she walked in, not knowing anything about skating, to this.

Chiaotzu decided to stay and enjoy this event. He was it and tried to tag whoever he sees. "(Y/N) you're next!"

"Not on the hair of my chinny chin chin," she said. 

"(Y/N)," Goten said. "You don't have any hairs on your chin."

"Oh. Anyway, YOU CAN'T GET ME!" And like that, she skated away from Chiaotzu.

I tried skating away from Chiaotzu, but he got me before I could react. "Dang it! You got me!"

"Oh no," Chiaotzu playfully said as he skated away.

(Y/N) P.O.V

You had so much fun skating with Goten, Chiaotzu, and Trunks. No one has ever taught you to skate until on your birthday with Trunks! Playing tag with the many other people there, you managed to out skate many people there. To you, skating seemed fun. You wish this didn't have to end.

You asked Goten, "Who's it?"

"I think it's Chiaotzu," he said. "Funny how a lot of people decided to join in with us!"

Chiaotzu skated to you guys with a happy and worried expression. "Oh snap! I finally did it! I tagged Trunks!"

Goten has the Oh-Shoot-That's-Horribly-Awesome face. "Every skater for themselves!!!"

Many people skated away from Trunks. Skaters were among the walls of the rink while some people like you risked the probability of getting tagged by staying out in the open. Either way, many people skated away from Trunks.

"This seems fun," You told Goten. "I wish this didn't have to end!"

"I wish so too," Goten said. He then saw Trunks skating toward the both of you. "EVERY SKATER FOR THEMSELVES!!!" He tried to skate away from Trunks.

You see Trunks skating toward you. As you tried to out skate him, you heard a voice. "You can't be doing this...," the voice said. As you looked to see where the voice is coming from, Trunks grabbed your arm and pulled you close to him.

Without hesitation, he leaned forward and kisses you in the middle of the rink.
