Chapter 3: Memories
The first week of school was good for Alyssa. The only bad part was Emily and her 'clique'. Alyssa had a job at the local diner. The diner used to belong to her father, John White. He died of lung cancer 2 years ago.
Alyssa's best memory with her dad was when she was 7 years old and her and her dad had a huge mud fight. Her mom was mad at both of them cause they brought lots of mud in the house. But Alyssa had the time of her life.
Alyssa's dad named the diner Dine With A Dime. When her dad died, the diner became hers. She's worked there since she was 10. But she only became a full time work when her dad died.
Her dad had full faith in her keeping the diner in business. But nobody even came to the diner anyways. The only people who actually ate at the diner were her dad's close friends & family.
Alyssa really wanted to update the diner to help bring in some new customers. But she's not sure if her dad would approve of that...
