One day Ellie the Sparrow was picking sunflower seeds in her hometown Linden when - screech! - a gargol landed in front of her. It killed her parents and likely would have killed her if not for the brave Goldwing knight who swooped by and drove the beast away. "Goodness gracious me!" said Ellie the Sparrow. "The sky's falling, and I must go and tell the king."
So she went along, and she went along, and she went along, till she met Nox the Crow. "Where are you going, Ellie the Sparrow?" said Nox the Crow. "Oh! I'm going to tell the king the sky's falling," said Ellie the Sparrow. "The king will not believe you," said Nox the Crow. "He will! Just you wait and see!" said Ellie the Sparrow. Nox the Crow did not think the king would listen, but decided to come with her anyway. So Ellie the Sparrow and Nox the Crow went to tell the king the sky was falling.
So they went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they met Twig the Piebald. "Where are you going, Ellie the Sparrow and Nox the Crow?" said Twig the Piebald. "Oh! We're going to tell the king the sky's falling," said Ellie the Sparrow and Nox the Crow. "The king will not believe you," said Twig the Piebald. "He will! Just you wait and see!" said Ellie the Sparrow. Twig the Piebald did not think the king would listen, but decided to come with them anyway. So Ellie the Sparrow, Nox the Crow, and Twig the Piebald went to tell the king the sky was falling.
So they went along, and they went along, and they went along, till they met Gussie the Falcon. "Where are you going, Ellie the Sparrow, Nox the Crow, and Twig the Piebald?" said Gussie the Falcon. "Oh! We're going to tell the king the sky's falling," said Ellie the Sparrow, Nox the Crow, and Twig the Piebald. "The king will not believe you," said Gussie the Falcon. "He will! Just you wait and see!" said Ellie the Sparrow. Gussie the Falcon did not think the king would listen, but decided to come with them anyway. So Ellie the Sparrow, Nox the Crow, Twig the Piebald, and Gussie the Falcon went to tell the king the sky was falling.
But just then Nox the Crow, Twig the Piebald, and Gussie the Falcon got tired of Ellie the Sparrow's heroic bullsh*t, so they all ditched her in the woods. "Fine!" said Ellie the Sparrow. "I will just have to talk to the king all by myself." So Ellie the Sparrow went to tell the king the sky was falling.
So she went along, and she went along, and she went along, till she met the king. "What brings you here, Ellie the Sparrow?" said the king. "Oh! I came here to tell you the sky's falling," said Ellie the Sparrow. "I do not believe you," said the king. "You must! I saw it with my own eyes!" said Ellie the Sparrow. The king was selfish and did not care about his people's safety, so he had her locked away in his dungeon.
Just as Ellie the Sparrow thought all hope was lost, Zain the Hawk came to visit her. Ellie the Sparrow told him all about what had happened. "So you see, the sky's falling!" said Ellie the Sparrow. Zain the Hawk got tired of Ellie the Sparrow's heroic bullsh*t, so he tried to ditch her, but she escaped from her dungeon cell and ditched him instead. On her way out of the city, she was reunited with Nox the Crow, Twig the Piebald, and Gussie the Falcon. "Where are you going, Ellie the Sparrow?" said Nox the Crow, Twig the Piebald, and Gussie the Falcon. "Oh! The king did not believe me, so I will just have to tell everyone else," said Ellie the Sparrow. Nox the Crow, Twig the Piebald, and Gussie the Falcon did not think anyone would listen, but decided to come with her anyway. So Ellie the Sparrow, Nox the Crow, Twig the Piebald, and Gussie the Falcon went to tell everyone the sky was falling.
