I loved the whole Skyborn series, so I decided to try writing a sequel to it. All events in this fanfic take place after the end of the last book, Skyborn: Phoenix Rising. If you have not read the series, please do not read my story. Jessica Khoury's series is wonderful, and I don't want anyone getting spoilers. The books were meant for a middle school audience, or ages 13 and up, but some parts actually do get kind of dark, so if you're sensitive to that type of stuff, be warned. My fanmade sequel will be a bit darker. There are way too few Skyborn stories out there, and fellow fans are hard to come by. It makes me sad that people are missing out on such a great world. I just had to write my own story. And here it is! [It's been months after the Battle of Tirelas, and the Skyborn have been settling into their new homes in the floating sky islands. However, something is lurking just beneath the surface, lying in wait for its chance to turn their new world upside down. Nox has been having strange visions, and people are disappearing one by one. Ellie watches helplessly as everything she's worked so hard to protect is threatening to vanish into the unknown.] Main characters: Nox Hatcher and Ellie Meadows. Other important characters: Gussie, Twig, Corion, and Zain. I do not own the world or the characters. They belong to Jessica Khoury. This is just a fanfic I came up with.

This is a dumb parody of the classic story of Chicken Little. I do not know where this idea came from, or why I spent hours writing it at 2 A.M. All I know is that Ellie the Sparrow is determined to tell the king the sky's falling. Also, this also serves as a summary of the entire Skyborn series, so if you don't want spoilers, be careful. It is split up into three chapters, with each chapter referring to the events of each book in the trilogy. I've been reading too much Shakespeare and I have to get it out of my head somehow. This also serves as sonnet, meter, and rhyme scheme practice. Will probably have various topics, including Skyborn and life in general.

(And also everyone else is doing it, and this fandom has a pitifully small amount of fan content, so this is what you get instead of actually decent writing. Sorry.)
