The next morning I'm abruptly awoken by music playing I slowly opening my eyes groggily and look around in confusion. The music stops for a moment before it starts up again and it's then that I notice my phone screen lighting up. Blinking I go to try and sit up only to be stopped by Minhyuk's arms wrapped around my waist. Blushing I realize I'm literally laying on top of him and I carefully maneuver out of his arms struggling a little until I finally manage to get out of his grasp. Standing up I quickly grab my phone and press the green answer button mumbling tiredly. "Hello?" I immediately hear a concerned Jaeho on the other side of the line. "Are you okay? You didn't come home last night." I immediately look back at the sleeping Minhyuk my cheeks tinting pink before I answer reassuringly. "I'm fine Jaeho I just accidentally stayed over at my mates apartment." It's quiet for a second before he speaks up in disbelief. "How do you accidentally stay over?" I pout a little and huff into the phone. "For your information I accidentally fell asleep on his couch after watching a ball game." Jaeho snorts a little. "That sounds like you. Anyways are you coming home anytime soon?" I pause for a moment before answering honestly. "I'll let you know. He's still asleep for now and I don't want to just up and leave without him knowing." Jaeho gives a little hum before saying in a slight protective tone. "Well I'll be at work until late tonight so if you come home make sure to lock the door tight." I grumble a little in annoyance. "I'm not a kid hyung. Don't worry about me just worry about your group." He sighs a little into the phone. "Alright fine I'll let you go be with your mate." I give him a soft goodbye and hang up rubbing my eyes tiredly jumping when I hear a groggy voice. "Who was that?" I turn around seeing a half asleep Minhyuk my heartbeat speeding up from his morning voice. "That was my roommate. Sorry did I wake you up?" He gives a little hum of acknowledgment. "I woke up when you moved because I got cold. What did your roommate want?" I apologize before saying softly. "He was worried since I didn't come home last night and let me know that he would be working really late at the shelter." He looks a little curious. "Shelter?" I give a little nod. "He's a counselor for abused and neglected omegas." He blinks a little before saying softly. "That's gotta be a really rewarding job." I hum a slight frown on my face. "Yeah but it's made him extremely anti alpha." He raises an eyebrow at me as he sits up. "Anti alpha?" I nod taking a seat beside him with a sigh. "Yeah he doesn't really like alpha's. He thinks almost all of them are and I quote 'just big jerks who want to wet their knot.' He's been that way since he got that job." Minhyuk grimaces looking slightly offended. "Not every alpha is like that though." I give him a sympathetic smile. "It's impossible to change his mind I've tried." Suddenly my stomach growls loudly and I blush holding it shyly. Minhyuk's lips twitch up into a smile and gets off the couch starting to stretch my eyes going to his abs when his shirt rides up I swallowing. Quickly snapping out of it I look away and head for the kitchen taking a seat at the table Minhyuk soon joining me and starts looking for ingredients. "Do you have practice today?" He pauses before giving a little nod. "Yeah I do actually. How about you come with me?" I blink at him in surprise. "Are you sure? I don't wanna intrude." He waves me off smiling. "It's fine you won't be intruding. You're my mate and I want you to meet my members." I slowly nod giving a soft "okay." He smiles and concentrates on making some pancakes I watching him intently. Once he's finished he hands me a plate I thanking him and start eating happily. Once we're finished I follow him to the sink to put my plate up and Minhyuk grabs my hand gently tugging me towards a room I soon seeing that it's his bedroom. He leads me over to the closet and starts digging through it before handing me a hoodie and some sweatpants. "The bathroom is at the end of the hall." I nod thanking him then make my way to the bathroom quickly getting ready and can't help but smile at the sweater paws I end up with I also melting at being surrounded by Minhyuk's scent. Grinning I keep burying my face against the sleeves before I make myself quit and head back to Minhyuk's room giving a little knock I immediately hearing a soft "come in." I open the door and step inside pausing when I see him shirtless my face immediately flushing and my scent spiking I quickly turning away in embarrassment. I hear a soft chuckle and then I'm suddenly grabbed by the waist from behind shivering when he buries his face against my neck I feeling his lips brush against my skin as he murmurs. "You shouldn't be embarrassed seeing me shirtless. But it is cute seeing you so flustered." He presses his body against me I reaching back and gently slap his shoulder. "I'm not used to attractive alpha's being shirtless around me." He hums giving a sudden nip to my neck making me gasp in surprise my knees going a little weak but he holds me up. Once I'm steadied I'm suddenly spun around I letting out a little squeak as an arm wraps around my waist he pulling my body flush against his. My hands settle on his bare chest my cheeks immediately flaming red and he chuckles again looking down at me. Our eyes lock and we stay like that for a moment before we start to slowly lean in. Just as our lips are inches apart a phone goes off making us jump apart Minhyuk turning and grabs his phone answering it. As he's talking to the person who called I try to get my heart to stop hammering like a drum. After a few minutes Minhyuk walks out of the closet this time wearing a shirt. "We should get going practice is going to start soon." I nod and we head out of the apartment getting in the car as Minhyuk starts driving off.
