A/N: Long time no see everyone. I figured it might be time to try and get back into the swing of things. Updates might still be slow so don't ask for chapters please because then it makes me feel pressured and no one wants that. Hope you enjoy.

So (Y/N) did end up telling her siblings that she spilled the beans to Preston. Dipper wasn't too happy about it but accepted it since it was too late. And if (Y/N) trusted Preston, then Dipper supposed he could too.

Now Grunkle Stan had the inspired idea to host a giant party at the shack to bring in more young people. So of course, (Y/N) texted Preston personally and asked if he was interested in coming so they could hang out. He had agreed and mentioned that his younger sister and her friends would probably coming along as well.

"(Y/N), can you help me do my hair?" Mabel asked, walking into her older sister's room.

"Sure thing, just give me one second," (Y/N) replied, throwing her hair up into a high ponytail (or other style if your hair isn't long enough for that).

(Y/N) got up from her vanity and ushered Mabel into the chair. Mabel handed her the brush she brought with her. (Y/N) started brushing her sister's hair with it. When she was done, she used the red ribbon Mabel had and tied it into a bow in her hair.

"There you go! You excited for the party?" she asked while she started applying some mascara and eyeliner to herself.

"Yup! Hey, is that guy you've been hanging out with coming to the party?" Mabel asked.

"Yeah. By the way, no match making of any kind missy," (Y/N) said, booping her sister on the nose.

"Pft- what? Now what gave you that idea?" Mabel asked.

"Because you've been teasing me about Preston since day one! Even if I keep telling you he's just a friend," (Y/N) laughed.

"Fiiinnneee, no match making," Mabel agreed.

(Y/N) lightly ruffled her hair before walking off to go check on Dipper. He'd be at the ticket booth all night with Wendy and knew he was nervous. Probably made a super complicated list too.

"Dipper, you in there?" (Y/N) asked, knocking on the door.

"Yeah, come on in!"

(Y/N) entered the room, pausing when she saw paper on the floor by her feet.

"Dipper, don't tell me you made a long list plan of how to hang out with Wendy tonight," (Y/N) said, stepping over the paper and sitting on the bed next to her younger brother.

"I won't tell you then," he said, looking at the list. (Y/N) rolled her eyes and pushed the list out of his eyesight, making Dipper look at his older sister.

"Listen Dip, you don't need one of your big elaborate plans to impress Wendy. You and I both know she's chill and likes talking to you as is. So, my advice is ditch the list and just talk to her like an actual human being. I know it's hard with your social anxiety awkwardness, but Wendy isn't going to judge you, alright?" she told him.

"I guess I could try. I'll keep the list with me just in case though, as a reference point. I'm going to go meet Wendy at the ticket booth," Dipper said, stuffing the list into his pocket before heading downstairs.

"Aw, my socially awkward caterpillar is becoming a butterfly," she whispered, wiping a fake tear from her cheek.

(Y/N)'s pocket buzzed, interrupting her emotional moment. She took it out of her pants pocket to see a message from Preston.

Preston: Hey, I might be a little late. My sister is trying to choose between 10 outfits that are LITERALLY THE SAME OUTFIT! She claims they're different but all I see is the same damn shade of purple.
