Chapter Four: Nothing Serious

Lennox's Point of View

I was breathing heavy, that was 3 times tonight, three times, in one fucking night where I'd gotten off with no issue what so ever. Once was in his truck, next was on the floor of the bedroom because had was impatient and then third, in the bed. The only other person who could go this long and that many times was Jax.

God. Don't think about him.

Adam and I had been going strong with just sleeping with each other for a few weeks and it was great, we'd gotten to know each other, we were friends as I'd like to say, we even high fived after sex. Like who the hell does that. And he didn't pry into my life which I liked, nor did he expect more from me. I learned that he was a contractor, he was also going to college in the fall, which I thought was amazing for him.

Part of me wanted to do the same thing. I had the opportunity to go to New York on a full ride scholarship but I ended up turning it down to stay here. Probably not the best decision I had made but couldn't change it now.

"You staying for dinner?" Adam asked pulling me out of my thoughts and I laughed a little. "I would but, we've got family dinner tonight." I said sitting up and I looked around breathing out. I reached down grabbing my t-shirt and I pulled it over my head looking at Adam.

"Family dinner huh?" He asked me.

I nodded my head and moved off the bed grabbing my panties and I pulled them up my legs. "Yes, the mother over every throws them every other Sunday and everyone was expected to be in attendance and I've never missed one." I answered simply, just because Jax and I were on the outs right now didn't mean that I was going to miss family dinner. Adam nodded his head. "Alright, you want me to come over after?" he asked and I looked at him like he was insane. "Are you serious?" I asked in disbelief and I pulled my shorts up my legs.

Adam shrugged his shoulders. "Your call." He flashed me a smile and I stepped around the bed and leaned down kissing his lips gently. "I'll think about it." I said before backing away. "Thank you, good one, goodbye." I waved and he started laughing at me.

"You say the sweetest things to me Lennox Page." He called out.

I stopped down the hallway and peaked my head back into his room. "It's Lennox Brighton Page." I corrected and winked at him before turning around and headed down the stairs. "Hey Alex, see ya Alex." I waved. "See ya Len!" He called out and I walked out of the front door taking the steps two at a time and I headed across the lawn towards our own and I saw there was mail stuffed in the mailbox and I walked up the steps pulling it all out.

I looked at the envelopes, most were bills except for one. It was addressed to me and it was written by someone. I frowned and turned it over opening it and inside was a letter. I pulled it out and opened it up.

Why did you do this? You broke my heart for the last time.

Why him?

Why Teller?

Why The neighbor?

I frowned as I read it then I looked around shaking my head and I looked back at the letter.

You'll see soon.

I'll show you.

Okay that was weird. I was so freaking confused right now because this made no sense at all. I felt something else in the envelope and looked inside seeing that it was a picture I pulled it out and flipped it over. It was from a few weeks ago, someone was watching me, this was of Adam and I, when we were skinny dipping.
