Chapter Five: "Go on the date"

Lennox's Point of View

It had been a full month and Adam and I were still doing our friendship, fuck buddy and it was still going strong. High five me. God I was such a dork. And Jax and I's friendship was back on track as well. I'd also gotten 3 more letters over the past month, and they all said the same thing, as the first, just different wording.

They talked about how I'd hurt them so much and how could I do that? Waverly was trying to dig into it but there wasn't really anything to do if I'd not been confronted directly and she can't hack into anything because there's no return address or anything that could give us any indication of who was sending me the letter, so they were tucked away into the drawer in the kitchen. Even charming PD can't do anything, already asked Unser about it and I made him promise not to tell my mom or my dad if he ran into them because I didn't need my parents worrying about me.

I was currently putting my boots on my feet, Adam was stepping around my room. "You wanna go out with my Friday night?" he asked and I frowned. Did I hear that correctly? I frowned and lifted my head. "Like...go out to a bar go out or?" I trailed off as I looked at him.

Adam looked at me and he chuckled lightly. "A date Lennox. Do you wanna go on a date with me Friday night?"

Oh god...

Oh god...

We weren't supposed to do that.

I sat there mouth agape like a fucking idiot because I didn't even know how to react to that, I didn't know what to say to that because we had agreed this was not serious. It wasn't serious? Was it? I mean yes we hung out every night, some nights we didn't even fuck we just watched shitty tv and talked. But it wasn't dating serious.

"Um." I didn't know what to say.

Adam walked towards me "Think about it then come talk to me." He pecked my lips and I sat there frowning and I turned my head to watch him, he caught me off guard with that and didn't pry for an answer he just let me sit and stew, he headed out of the bedroom and I sat there in shock.

Adam asked me out on a date.

Not even caring that that's not what this was.

I closed my mouth and stood to my feet, I stepped around the bedroom it was like things went in slow motion. I grabbed my bag putting it over my shoulder and I headed out then down the hallway, Waverly was at work and I was off today. I made my way out of the house going straight to my car. I started it up and backed out of the driveway.

Before I knew where I was. I snapped out of the state I was in realizing I was at Teller-Morrow. I sighed and climbed out of the car and headed around Gemma's SUV, then I stepped towards the bay area looking inside. "Where's Jax?" I asked. Thomas lifted his head out from underneath the hood of a car.

"Clubhouse." He motioned.

I nodded my head once then started walking. "Everything okay?" he called out.

"I don't know!" I called back as I walked, my arms crossed over my chest because truth be told. I didn't know if everything was okay. It was strange. I had this weird feeling and that weird feeling led me here of course. I opened the door to the clubhouse, croweaters scattered around, I ignored each and every one of them then made me way up the stairs and I turned left going down the hallway towards Jax's dorm room. I let out a breath and knocked on the door instead of just barging in like normal.

A few seconds later the door opened and Jax flashed me a smile. "Hey darlin, didn't think I was seeing you until later?" we had plans tonight and I stepped past him heading into the room. "Everything alright?" he asked and I turned around to look at him. "Adam asked me out on a date." I blurted.
