Months and years passed and the three continued to train until they were able to master the five main breathings.
The three mastered the five main breathings but decided to settle on one main breathing.
"I don't know if Lord Muzan have said this but Tanjiro will be undercover and he take the Final selection in the future and we've decided if you two, Zenitsu and Inosuke want to come along with Tanjiro." Kokushibo said to the three sitting.
Zenitsu,Tanjiro and Inosuke were happy because they've finally mastered all the breathings, but this news from Kokushibo was a surprise for Zenitsu and Inosuke.
While Tanjiro was not shocked at all, he already knew since this was the second reason his father didn't want to turn him into a demon, he had a smile on his face.
~~~~~~~~~~~A FEW MONTHS AGO~~~~~~~~~~~
"Dad!" Tanjiro shouted.
"Yes? Tanjiro?" Muzan replied.
"The promise you made four years ago!" Tanjiro said excitedly.
"The promise?" Muzan questioned.
"The promise! Of me becoming a demon!" Tanjiro shouted.
"Oh right that promise... I know I promised you that I'll turn you into a demon...but it's to dangerous Tanjiro...you might not be able to take my blood and...die..." Muzan said worriedly.
"Please.. please... Dad.." Tanjiro begged.
Muzan didn't want to but Tanjiro just kept begging. It's not only the fact that Tanjiro might die but the fact that Tanjiro won't be able to join the demon corps. He worried about this two reasons but he couldn't do anything because Tanjiro kept begging and begging.. Muzan worried that if he didn't fulfill the promise Tanjiro might run away or ignore him...Muzan didn't want that, he loved Tanjiro... Tanjiro was someone who filled a part of Muzan that felt empty... Muzan felt like Tanjiro was really his son this passed few years...
"Tanjiro.. to be honest, the chance of you dying is not the only reason I don't want you to be a demon.." Muzan said in a soft tone...
Tanjiro gave a confused look.
"There's another reason dad? What other reason....?" Tanjiro asked.
"You see Tanjiro... Dad has enemies since he's a demon... And you know dad eats humans right?" Muzan started.
Tanjiro nodded softly.
"Well... These enemies didn't like me eating humans so.. they're trying to kill dad.. I wanted you to be a spy to these enemies so that dad knows if something dangerous is about to happen to himself..." Muzan continued.
Tanjiro kept listening a little shocked...no?.. Angry... he was angry.. that someone wants to kill his 'loving father'...
"Then.. dad..if Me, being a spy is important I'll do just that.. dad.." Tanjiro said.
Muzan shooked his head.
"No.. you being happy is important to me Tanjiro, so maybe.. I'll agree to you and turn you into a demon.. I'll give up the plan on turning you into a spy as long as you're happy" Muzan smiled..
"But.. dad won't that put you in danger? These enemies wants you dead after all.." Tanjiro said in a worried tone.
"Dad is strong so don't worry much..okay?" Muzan said with a smile.
"Then you'll really let me?" Said Tanjiro excited.
Muzan nodded.
"Yeyyy!" Tanjiro was excited.
