Second Chance

Bucky's POV:

I'm in a dark room with orders being called into my ears as I look down seeing a man tied to a chair covered in blood crying for his life but I'm showing no mercy as I hit him with my metal arm yelling at him to be quiet as he screams in agony.

Looking around I see a different room that has a small light illuminating the man across the room with a large needle in his hands, as he comes closer I try to move but I'm tied down to the chair I'm sitting in, struggling to get out but all I can do is watch and choke on my screams being muffled by a mask.

I wake up in a cold sweat looking around frantically for any signs of Hydra but there are none I'm sitting in my bed in the tower.
Sighing I rub my face trying to ease the headache when I hear screams and crying from outside of my room.

I get up warily walking towards the door opening it seeing Steve run down the hall in a hurry to Natasha's room.
I walk further down the hall listening to the screaming and crying.

I walk further reaching Natasha's room looking into the room seeing the whole team huddled around the bed, I try to get a better look and when I do on the bed is a sleeping girl who's crying and screaming who I notice to be Y/n.

"Princess come on wake up!" Tony yells panicked.

"Y/n come on" Natasha mumbles scared squeezing her hand.

Y/n's POV:

A 9 year old me is in a dark room and all I can hear is the sounds of people crying and screaming begging for their life. I curl into a ball rocking back and forth to calm myself with my hands over my ears singing the song my Mom used to sing to me when I was scared quietly with tears running down my face.

A 12 year old me looks up seeing a different room that was darker and I'm tied to a chair as a man comes closer to me with a scalpel.

"No please!" I yell crying desperately trying to get out of the chair trying to move my arms that are tied down.

"Quiet!" He yells hitting me across the face sending my head to the side feeling it burn as more tears roll down my face.

He gets closer cutting my arm putting tubes in my arms as I cried and screamed begging for him to stop.

"Please!" I yell choking on my tears as I watch the tubes take my blood.

I gasp for air looking around scared and panicked.

"Hey it's okay it's me Princess it was just a dream" My Dad says smiling sadly with tears in his eyes.

I throw my arms around him sobbing onto his shoulder.

"It's okay I'm here" he assures quietly while rubbing my back.

"He wouldn't stop" I cry onto his shoulder.

"It's okay he's gone, you're safe they will never touch you again" he kisses my head.

End of Y/n's POV:

The Avengers watch Tony and Y/n sadly knowing what she went through when Hydra took her.

Bucky watches from the doorway with tears in his eyes feeling horrible about what Y/n went through seeing her so scared and sad.

He looks away remembering some of the things he went through in the hands of HYDRA.
He walks back to his room with his head down deep in thought.

"How can she act so happy with everything that's happened to her?" He asks himself lying in his bed staring at the ceiling lost in thought.
