Moth would slowly stalk towards the SunWing. She'd finally tracked down her sister's killer. Her camouflaged color helped her not be seen. She could tell that the SunWing could feel her presence, but as she hadn't reacted yet, she kept stalking towards her.
"Go get a lay of the land. You left, and you right," the SunWing would say abruptly, making Moth jump a bit, rustling some leaves.
As the other guarding SunWings left, the MoorWing slightly moved, making a rustling sound. The SunWing seemed to have noticed, and looked around suspiciously. Moth shuddered, she could feel the Sunwing's burning scales already. Suddenly, Moth leaped onto the SunWing, the heat from their wings burning her wrists.
"You, You're going to explain yourself," Moth would wince.
Moth would hold the SunWing down, as having the size advantage and injected her with a small poison, which would mostly only knock the SunWing out for a few hours. Moth would look at her burned hands, blackened by the SunWing's heat.
Moth took the unconscious SunWing to a small cove by the Sea. She'd tie the SunWing down slightly in the tide, hoping that would stop the fire.
A few hours later the SunWing woke up, looking rather upset with no fire.
'What have you done?' the SunWing would say in a raspy voice, even though they looked pretty young. Was this how SunWings worked?
"Shush. You have crimes to answer for," Moth hissed in response, jabbing a talon close to her face, trying to seem intimidating.
"You killed my sister, and I'm sure you remember clearly" Moth continued, her voice shaking a bit, ruining her attempt at being scary.
The SunWing paused for a moment, as if pondering on which dragon that was.
"Yeah well! Your tribe is full of bird-killers," the SunWing would spit.
Bird-killers? What was this SunWing going on about? The last time Moth had checked, she was still a vegetarian.
"Well your tribe is full of dragon-killers and conquers, which is worse!" The Moth retorted. "Everyday my tribe fights because of you bitter dragons who can't let go of their golden Sun Empire!"
Moth would emphasize that last part, feeling rather smug about it.
Suddenly, the SunWing took off without warning, and Moth quickly knocked her out of the air, slightly drowning the SunWing a bit.
"You're lucky I don't have my fire," the SunWing snarled.
"You're lucky I'm not killing you right here," Moth snarled back, as if trying to say 'I'm not afraid of you!'. "Because you killed Hare!" She swiped her claw onto the SunWing's snout, making them wince.
" Ok, ok, fine. I'm sorry I killed your sister Hops, or whatever her name is."
There was a pause.
" You're not really sorry, are you "
" Of course I am! Why would I apologize then?! "
"I don't believe you." Moth would say, in denial.
The SunWing sighed, as if saying 'This dragon is getting on my nerves'
Suddenly, Adder, her older brother, popped out of the sand.
" I told you to not go off on your own. What were yo- WHAT ARE YOU DOING MOTH!? " he'd shriek, making the SunWing flinch.
" Teaching this SunWing a lesson " Moth would say smugly.
" MOTH! LET GO OF HER!! SHE'S GOING TO KILL YOU! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIEEEEEE!!!!! "
" Geez Adder, it's just one lone SunWing. "
Adder would nervously look around, then whisper,
" That's the princess, Princess Phoenix "
Moth's jaw dropped. Seriously? Her first kidnapping, and it had to be a princess? The SunWing looked irritated at the gawking dragons.
" Yes, " The SunWing–Phoenix said " And by official orders" Phoenix would pause dramatically "I am now needed to take you to the Sun Empire. "
