"Oh yeah for sure." Mitch gulps and pulls out the money O'Bannion gave us.

"O'Bannion give it to y'all?" We nodded as he turned back and took another hit.

"Jodi say anything?" Mitch asked.

"Nah man, to be honest with you I don't think she'd mind you drinking and puffin'. No need to be a goody goody, y'know why?" Randall turns back to us.

"Uhm-"

"Cause no one cares Mitchy boy, everyone does their own thing and you just gotta chill man." Wooderson cuts Mitch off.

We pull into a parking lot of an emporium. I admire a car that had a couple statues in the back of their trunk. 'No way, is that Gene Simmons?!' I chuckled softly at the thought.

We head inside, I follow behind Mitch and get stuck behind a group of guys, a couple of them I knew, the rest I had never seen in my whole life.

"Hey gorgeous." Pickford leans on his pool cue.

I pushed through the others and sat on a pool table. "Hi Kevin," I smiled, "Michelle around?"

He begins playing with Dawson and Slater. "Nah, haven't seen her, probably in the bathroom."

I watched them play for a while, "Mind if I give it a go?"

"Go for it Val." Slater hands me a ball and his cue. I go around the table and place the cracked white ball where I thought it fit best. I lean my body forward and began positioning the cue to where I liked. A cold hand and weight on my backside caused me to pull the cue forward and strike it back.

I turned to see O'Bannion hunched over, cupping his junk and wincing in pain. "Hurts don't it?" I laughed and reposition myself and the cue. A couple of laughs and mutters could be heard over his groans.

"She got you good Fred." Pickford and Slater high five while laughing at him. The white ball ricocheted off the others and allowed for them to strike the corners of the table with three going in.

I looked up and could just feel Mitch's eyes burning into my head. I met his gaze from across the room, never breaking it even with all the people passing through. I break it and laugh as Slater gives me a hug.

"She's on my team now man-"

"Nah man you said I had first pick of who would be on my team."

"Too bad Pickford." I chuckled, Kevin rolled his eyes.

"Hey Val~!" Michelle's voice comes from behind me , she takes her cigarette out her mouth and gives me a hug.

"Ya' come here alone or?" I shook my head and leaned my hand on the table. "I came with Mitch, Randall, and that blonde dude Wooderson, never met him before but I swear he could be a teacher." We laughed and talked about the statues in the lot.

"Shut up, now way you painted that!" I point my thumb behind me while laughing in disbelief. "Damn are you taking that to college or what? There's some serious talent there." She motions her bud to me but I decline and rest my hand on the corner of the pool table.
