You were confused, then the thing started explaining your situation...

You were here by coincidence but at the same time on purpose... It sounds confusing but then it made sense as the floaty thing explains some things

There was this "event" that happens every few years... or like decades... it depends, it can even happen just a few yrs later aswell

But this is an event where someone from YOUR original world just somehow dies but ends up in this world.

The floaty thing said that it is kinda rare, but it does happen since once every decades or centuries, or just a few years; 

And for some reason, you became the 299th person to actually come at this world

And the main reason why your unlucky, is because this world your in isn't "good" for you, and it is that because your soul cannot fully adjust in this world which would result in bad consequences

One of which would be your soul being destroyed for it could not handle the new environment that it's in;

And if your soul gets destroyed? You would not be able to reincarnate anymore... it's a fate worse than death

This world is known to be fictional back at yours, but in this world, it's real... it's actually real, you just so happen to call them fictional because their just in a tv screen back in your world, but here, they exist... and their living.

And in order to get back to your world, and get a proper reincarnation there instead, is to collect human life force...

In the floaty thingy's terms, a human's soul will dissipate without it's life force and will be forgotten forever...

"I still don't get it, what's this life force??" you said and the floaty thingy only kept it's  composure before explaining it more easier

A life force is something you already have, and it's what makes you... YOU

It gives a person, an image, character, and most of all, emotions...

And apparently, to go back to your world, the floaty thingy needs immense amount of life forces... to make the portal

They can't allow the crossing of worlds... as it can cause unbalance

"So I need... life force?" you said

"Yes, and this life force can be taken from a human in many ways, and that is by their emotions..."

"What?! Taken from a human?!" you said and the floaty thingy continued

"There's these things called emotion crystals... and they symbolize a person's emotion... the brighter, the more force there is inside"
