One Piece E- Reta

Chapter one:

So, I don't know if this counts as a trigger warning, but I'm going to put it up here anyways, just in case.

She thinks I need to meet somebody. 

they all do...

If I'm being quite honest with myself, I think I'm doing just fine all on my own. I don't need to meet anybody, thank you very much.

That was probably the biggest lie I have ever told.

I hate to admit this, but I am a very very lonely guy. If Isuka were to hear me say that I'd never hear the end of it, so please keep that a secret for me!

"Seriously Ace. even your younger brother Luffy agrees that you need to date somebody!" Isuka shouted, shaking her head at me. That ginger haired woman right there is my best friend, Isuka! she works as a police officer alongside Luffy's best friend Zoro. their job is very serious. "Everyone knows that Luffy is the densest person alive when it comes to romance so him agreeing with us kind of says it all." Sanji says, pointing his lit cigarette at my bare chest. "And he has a boyfriend" Sanji adds. I rolled my brown eyes at the blonde chef.

"Listen, I appreciate the concern, but I am perfectly fine on my own" I say, "as for Law..." I mumble quietly. "Ace, we have seen how depressed you get when you have to go home alone. You live by yourself in a two-bedroom house." Nami says, counting her money. "And because we care about you, we've set up a blind date for you!" She says, cheerfully clapping her hands together. . I paled, quite considerably.

The last time they set me up on a blind date, it ended with the girl screaming at me that I couldn't see a beautiful well-defined girl even if she punched me. And then she called me an asshole right afterwards. That girl was quite colorful. 

I sigh, looking back at the witch of a woman. "Nami, as much as I appreciate your concern, and the offer, I'm not going on that blind date." 

"Why not?" Robin suddenly spoke, looking up from her book, and giving me a knowing look. Robin is one of Luffy's friends as well as Nami's girlfriend. I swallowed, suddenly nervous. Robin was always too perceptive for her own good and that always annoyed me. I could never hide anything from that woman.

"I'm not going... uh... Because" I tried to speak, unable to find the right words. I paled some more, everyone was now looking at me, including Luffy who was occupied with his 5th lunch at the moment. "You see... Um... I'm just not really interested..." Everyone raised a brow. "In woman" I finished after a moment of silence.  

Silence. That was all I received as an answer. If silence could kill, I'd be dead right now. I start to sweat nervously. It was so quiet. I slowly stood up from my chair and headed towards the door. "Wait! Not so fast Ace!" Franky says, grabbing my arm and dragging me back to the chair. "It's about goddamn time" Nami crossed her arms, looking quite pleased with herself. "What?" I asked dumbly. What are they talking about? I swallowed, quite nervously. 

"We already knew you were gay, Ace. we were just waiting for you to admit it. There wasn't even a blind date setup" Robin says, smiling and returning to her book, amusement dancing in her bright blue eyes. I felt quite stupid, to say the least. I really should have known that they would accept my sexuality. Robin and Nami are dating for about a year after all and I'm pretty sure Sanji and Zoro have a thing for each other. 

"Oh" was all I could say. "Am I off the hook then?" I asked, hoping they'd leave me alone after today. It was a stupid question, to be honest. "Of course not, dumbass! Robin and I actually found this site last night, which is how we came up with this plan in the first place." "I refuse" I crossed my arms across my chest, looking away from them. I refuse to let them continue whatever this plan is, even though I am quite lonely. 

Luffy pushes his plate away from him and looks at me with that look that I could never go against. "I refuse your refusal, Ace" he says, making everyone in the room chuckle. "But Luffy-!" I started, being cut off by Nami. "Ace, If you don't agree to my plan, I will raise your debt up to a million dollars." she smirked.

"What?! but Nami! you can't do that; I'll be in debt for the rest of my Life!" Ace shouted.

"Exactly. Now, will you check out this site, or will you be in debt till the day you die?" So basically, what the witch is saying, I either have to go along with her ridiculous idea or be in debt till my last breath. I growled lightly. "Not like I have a choice" I grumbled.

"Perfect! Isuka-San, can you grab my laptop please? It's right over there. Thanks" Nami smiled, watching as Isuka nodded and stood up to go fetch the laptop.

[Time skip to after Nami gets her laptop, brought to you by your daily dose of ZoSan Drama~!}

"Um... what is this exactly?" I asked, scrolling through a light pink page with lots of words on it. There were also a bunch of hearts and a sign in button and a sign-up button. "It's called E-retā. It's a site where people sign in and are matched with someone based on likes and dislikes. It's similar to pen pals except that instead of writing out letters, you email them." Isuka explained. "I have it too. It's pretty great" she smiles. I nodded and noticed that all of the guys left. Luffy left to go find Law, Zoro left to get ready for work, some left for stores, others for the park. Though, Sanji had to leave for his apartment because he had a ceremony to prepare food for.

"We already made you an account. Your username is ASL_2 and your password is whitebeardpirates" Nami typed the information in, and a new screen popped up. In the middle of the screen was a nice picture of me and below that I saw things like "View profile, Inbox, sent, pictures, and new E-retā".

"Now, if you'll excuse us," Nami says, standing up and grabbing Robin's hand. "We have spa treatments to get to. Have fun, Ace. oh and, I'll be checking your account every once in a while, to make sure you actually talk to somebody. and If you don't, I'll raise your debt." Nami says, her and Robin leaving.

I groaned, dropping my head onto the table. This is just great.
