Ember's heart skipped a beat, she stayed very still, listening. That cry was familiar. Was it possible? Her mother also seemed to have heard it too as she whispered Ember's name, her father took a sign that something was up too. The family let go of each other and Ember looked up the room that she had came out from. It took her a moment to realize what she was seeing. Condensation. Tiny, nearly imperceptible water droplets lining around the chimney that she and Wade tried to escape out from.

"Butterfly." Ember whispered. Then, with impossible hope, she called louder. "Butterfly. Windshield wipers. Half a butterfly." The cry returned distantly, sending a few droplets down into a conveniently placed pot. Ember's chest swelled with disbelief as her breathing tone began to change.

"An old man on his deathbed remembers the summer he fell in love!" She shouted, tears of joy filling her eyes. "She was out of his league and he was scared. He let her go, thinking surely summer would come again. It never did." Soft weeping filled the room, some of the echoes now coming from the pot of pooled water itself. "You are perfect match!" Cinder suddenly declared when she realised what was happening. "Ten out of ten!" Bernie looked at his wife and daughter confused as more and more tears of water fell from the ceiling.

"I don't understand. What's going on?" Bernie asked his wife. "Just say something to make water guy cry, okay?" Cinder told him. Bernie understood and thought hard on what he wanted to say. "You are no longer panned." Bernie finally said which was then corrected by Wade with an echoey "Banned." The more louder the wails got, more waters droplets fell from the ceiling. Ember felt immensely energised now. "I want to explore the world with you, Wade Ripple. I want to have you with me, in my life, forever!" These words of sincerity burst out from Ember's mouth like a bomb.

The pot was now completely full. Ember slowly peered in, holding her breath. There they were. Those two incredible and sparkling eyes of a wonderful man she loved. Wade stood up from the bucket, re-forming into his normal self. He was in complete awe that he had survived his evaporation only except he came back without his shirt. "Your uh...chimney needs cleaning." Wade awkwardly smiled as he grabbed his shirt that was lying on the ground and put in on.

Ember felt as though she might burst from happiness. She rushed forward to hug Wade, causing steam to simmer around them. Wade's water counter-balanced Ember's fire, their chemistry connecting. They were a perfect match. "I thought I lost you." She sobbed tears of joy, unable to control her big smile as the pair let go to face each other. "Can't get rid of me that easily." Wade replied tenderly.

In any romance movie or show, one would initiate a kiss to the other, who would be surprised by it. But Ember and Wade were a far more different couple, both physically and biologically. The two locked eyes for moment before they kissed for the first time. It was an amazing feeling for the both of them. Being able to touch was the first step, this was the second. As they kissed, Wade held Ember up by the waist and together they spun around, her light shone through his water, refracting off every surface in a spectacular prism of color. Cinder smiled happily at her daughter while Bernie glanced away respectfully.

"I knew it! My nose always know!" Cinder shouted causing everyone in vicinity to laugh out loud. "You're surprisingly a pretty good kisser, Ember." Wade admitted. Ember's cheek burned bright pink. "You weren't too bad yourself, Wade." Ember said with an uncontrollable smirk.
