As the couple went out of the shop, they bummed into none other than Clod. "Ember! Oh my gosh, I was so worried about you! I came here as fast as I could when I saw the-" Clod stopped as soon as he noticed Wade and Ember holding hands. Ember realised what he was looking at and she could feel her temper slowing rising. "Clod, would you please just go? This is not a good time." She scowled, feeling Wade's eyes on her. "Um, Ember? Who exactly is this kid?" Wade whispered to her and without looking at him, Ember quickly replied with "Not now, Wade."

"But I thought you said elements couldn't mix!" Clod wailed. "Well that was before I met him!" Ember shouted angrily, already turning purple. "Whoa, Ember. Calm down a little, he's just a kid." Wade quickly intervened before the situation could escalate. Ember looked at Wade for a second, his lovely eyes slowly putting out her temper. She then took a deep breath. "Listen, Clod. You're gonna have to find a new queen, cause I've already found my king." Ember said, slowly cringing inside while Clod stood there stunned. The couple then headed in the direction of the train station. "Wow, that was so corny." Wade sniggered.

They arrived in the main city later and went to the Alkali theatre. They decided to watch a fun rom com. "That movie was a lot of fun!" Wade exclaimed. Ember smiled at her bubbly boyfriend. After that, they went for a drink at the park cafe. It was the same park cafe that had everyone dancing with their partners. As soon as the music started playing, everyone began dancing. "So, Ember. Care to dance?" Wade held his arms out. Ember appreciated the gesture but was slightly uncomfortable. "Are you sure, Wade? I don't want everyone to stare at us." Ember frowned. "Don't worry. Just block them from your mind and put your attention on me." Wade reassured Ember. She looked at Wade for a moment before accepting his hand."Okay." Ember and Wade then got up together and began to dance. Even if they do feel the other elements' eyes on them, they could care less about how many were staring at them as long as they were looking into each others' eyes lovingly. Ember couldn't have love Wade more at this moment. The way he can always make her feel better, happier and content was incredible.

Night approached as Ember and Wade were walking to an empty train station. "You know, today was a really eventful day." Ember admitted and took Wade's hand. "I'm really lucky to have met you, Wade." Upon hearing those words, his heart melted. "So am I, Ember." Wade said as he put his hand on Ember's cheek. They then share a nice tender kiss, their second kiss in a day. As they pulled away, the train arrived. "Bye, Wade, I love you!" Ember waved as she ran into the train. "I love you too, Ember!" Wade called out before the train doors closed. Back at Wade's apartment, his mom bawled out happy tears as she was incredibly happy for her son to have reconciled with the love of his life. Wade joined his mom and sobbed loudly together.

Back in Ember's room in the Fireplace, she took out the Vivisteria sphere and stared at it. It reminded her of when Wade went out of his way and brought her to Garden Central Station to see the flower, despite having unexpectedly flooded a long time ago. It was also a reminder of her glass making talent. There will come a day where she will tell her parents about it but that day can wait until Firetown is fully repaired. She brought the sphere to her bed and cradled it to sleep.
