Happy Sunday! I'm a bit nervous for Austria but I hope we can have a win (altho I feel like that's pushing it 😂)
After Apex, I'll be taking a break to focus on my last term of college. Don't worry, because when I come back, I will hopefully have another book for you guys to read. I've been meaning to publish my own book for a while so I'm going to try it out 🤍 When I come back, the book will be ready to read from start to finish 😉
Enjoy!

March 23, 2028 - Monaco
I can't believe that I am at a bar on a Thursday night. Another thing that I can't believe is that the club is packed on a regular Thursday night.
It was news to me that Alex Albon was now a resident of Monaco. He moved here from the UK just before the 2028 season began and he's chosen to celebrate it alongside his birthday. The boys were ecstatic, like teenage kids who were just told they could spend the entire weekend playing video games.
The only difference was their equivalent of video games was a night out and maybe a trip in the water using someone's boat.
I was standing by the bar alongside Kika and Heidi, the three of us carefully watching as our partners' alcohol tolerance slowly plummeted to the ground. From what Max has told me, this is the first time since the end of the 2027 season that all of them have gone out together. It didn't feel right to celebrate after Charles' accident and this was the first time this year where everyone was available.
"Should I be worried?" Kika asked us when she saw Pierre literally drink from a bottle of champagne.
"I don't think so." Heidi said, shaking her head. "For someone who doesn't slow down with the drinking, Pierre is usually the last one to fall."
"That's because he manages to get the others drunk first." I scoffed, taking a sip of my drink as I watched Pierre tap Charles on the shoulder and literally shove the bottle towards his mouth. "If Charles weren't from Monaco, I would've been worried by now. My bet is on Mick."
Kika and Heidi nodded their heads as Mick became the current victim of Max and Daniel. He was no match for the two, passing around shots and shots of alcohol as if they were refilling it from a waterfall. The only one who's as drunk as Mick was Alex because every time someone greets him a happy birthday, they hand him a drink. Lily was beside him the entire night, making sure that he was still okay.
Things were going well until Pierre called for one of the staff and pointed to the entire menu of drinks. "Okay, time to go." Kika was the first one to move as she grabbed the menu from her boyfriend before telling the staff to forget everything he said.
Heidi went for Daniel and scolded him for making people drunk, taking the bottle of tequila away.
As for me, I watched in amusement as Charles whispered some things to Max, his eyes flickering from me to his friend. "Everything alright?" I smirked when I stopped in front of them.
"You're very pretty." Charles said fingers playing with his bottom lip as he scanned my face before blatantly checking me out. "And very hot. Yep."
I turned to Max who was already red in the face due to the amount of alcohol he drank and the huge amount of effort he was exerting to keep from laughing so much. "How drunk is my husband?" I asked him, slapping his arm as Charles began to play with a few strands of my hair.
"I'm not drunk."
"Yes, you are." Max and I said simultaneously.
"I'm mildly inebriated."
