Home for Joe was a rather large estate that his father owned. His three brothers lived there as well but the house was so big that most of the time you wouldn't even notice other people also lived there. Their mother had passed away before any of them were old enough to even know her. She was killed during a mafia war evidently which would make sense considering his own father is in fact a bonafide Italian Mafia boss. Thankfully, Joe is not the oldest of his siblings, so currently Kevin is next in line to become his father's successor. Joe is not going to complain about that, though. He has zero interest in following in his fathers footsteps. Joe had other plans, he wanted to become the CEO of his own record label. He can't stand the music being played on the radio these days and he wants to produce and promote what his vision of real talent sounds like. Music is his reason for being alive, at least that's what he tells himself. Nothing is more gratifying to him than being completely engulfed by a musical masterpiece. Music has a power over humans that can make them dance, scream, cry, dress a certain way, act a certain way. Music is a force of nature. That's why he doesn't waste his time with dating, especially in this climate. If it were legally allowed, he would say he's married to the music. This notion proved to be very true. By the time Joe was 30 years old he was unmarried, but the CEO of his own international record label: Jonas Records. His record label was well known for hiring only artists that qualified to Joe's extremely refined taste. His expertise and passion for perfection was unmatched in the industry. He could tell a true musician not just by their talent, but by the way they carried themselves, the way they dressed, even the way they ate food. No one really understood his methods, some called him a genius, some called him strange, but one thing everyone could agree on was he was extremely successful. Only the most elite musicians would be accepted into his label, all of which had their own styles, genres and stage presence. You never knew who would qualify to be accepted by him, but you did know that if they were accepted, they were guaranteed to be famous. This is how Harry Styles gained his popularity, but he didn't get a leg up just because he went to school with Joe. In fact, Joe didn't even recognize Harry when he scouted him himself on the streets of London.
