Breath Sophie breath she repeated in her mind. That was her mantra. She was frantically tapping her fingers together just like Elaine had taught her and tried to calm her mind. Sophie foster was pacing a groove into her floor. Why? Because someone had spray painted (elves have spray paint?) HUMAN in big bold brown letters on to the stables at havenfield.
If someone had peaked into her room at that particular time they would have seen a slightly flushed fidgeting version of Sophie, instead of the whirlwind of panic she actually was.
Sophie decided she couldn't take it anymore. With slightly shaky hands she undid her necklace that had a secret light leaping crystal out of her pocket and held it up to the light. Taking a moment to compose her focuse she stepped into the light.
Sophie glittered onto an island that had become familiar over the past 2 months. She slid of her knee high boots and dug her toes into the soft, warm sand. She took a deep breath of sweet ocean air that cleared her mind.
She had walked the same path So many times that she didn't even open her eyes just let her memory guide her. As the sand slowly turned into the soft mossy ground of Allvurture. It was quiet as always except for the sorrowful cry of the moonlarks.
Sophie opened her eyes as she stood at the steps to the treehouse throat the gang had once stayed in when they were hiding from the rest of the elvin world. The soon to be Elvin/human world she remembered with a pang of her previous panic. She'd reached the waterfall of the girls common room and lays down on her bed. She heard a not so subtle cough from across the room and shot up with alarm immediately thinking of the protesters as she reached for her throwing star.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH easy there gorgodon" said a familiar voice.
Tam slowly stepped out from behind the other side of the waterfall.
"Glad I'm not the only one in the closet."
