What if it was meant to be us?

Kidnapping? Oh DeLiGhTfUl!!!!

The doors burst open revealing 193 delegates either angrily shouting or hunched down silent in fear of the large green creatures bearding them into the hall.
In the middle of it all was our favorite adult vacker, Alden. Getting screamed at.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE?!"

"I PLEAD THE FITH"

"COULDNT YOU ATLEAST GAVE ME A
SECOND TO CHANGE?!"

"I HAVE MONEY PLEASE DONT HURT ME!"

Fitz rolled his eye at the last comment and Sophie elbowed him.
Alden threw up his hands in defeat. "Alright. Alright. ALRIGHT EVERYBODY JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTHS. I CAN ALREADY HEAR YOUR THOUGHT OF CONFUSION AND FEAR I DO NOT NEED TO HEAR THEM OUT LOUD TOO."

Sophie was stunned. She had never heard Alden raise his voice like that. But he did have a point Sophie was close to a futile position because of the pounding headache that she had manifested. It felt like the neverseen plunged a handful of shadowflux into her brain. Her cognate didn't look much better.
The mob slowly quieted down until it was reduced to a small murmuring of protest. "Good." Alden Said rubbing his temples.
"I'll take it from her Alden" said Emery. He cleared his throat. "Delegates of the human countries, we have gathered you today at the start of the combining of species. Otherwise known as merging of humans and elves." The crowed immediately riled back up. Councilor emery held up his had and spoke in a voice the boomed across the vast hall of justice. "I SHALL explain more as long as you cooperate and sir in your thrones." The United Nations all shuffled over to their respective thrones. Alden swung by Sophie and Fitz whispering "sorry I was late. No reason to worry." With a teal wink. Emery stood.
"Humans, what is about to be revealed to you is a century's old secret."
The room seemed to be holding its breath to find out what he was going to say next.
"There is five other species that you do not know about. We are the elves. We are the evolved versions of humans."
Someone scoffed.
"That might sound arrogant but it is, logically speaking true."
While Emery continued his explanation of the world beyond humans, Sophie thought about when she first arrived in the lost city's, how much easier things were. Even fighting the neverseen was easier than going fighting herself.
"Then there is the working class, the people that are talentl-"
Sophie stood up.
"Exuse my interruption councilor Emery, but as to being the only elf in this room who has EVER experienced the ups and downs of uprooting my life and someone telling me my whole life is a lie I believe I should be the one talking."
Fitz's mouth hung open while the entire Elvin council death glared her.
Sophie stood and walked the the center of the room.
"Hello United Nations, my name is Sophie foster. Until I was in ninth grade I lived with my human parents sister and even a cat. My whole life was simply made disappear my parents didn't even know I existed. Nobody should have to go through that. But against all odds I found myself a family. Anyone would be tempted to forget about humans and relax. But knowing that your people are suffering from famine, disease, homelessness, suicide, even fear of death. We would be no better than those things to just ignore it. So yes, there is another world, and yes merging them might be the hardest thing this world has faced since it split in two, but we can help each other to make a better world."
Sophie realizing that she had just made a speech to all the leaders of the earth, coughed blushing and added "and umm uh yeah I'm Sophie...." She trailed off as she spotted a woman's hair sticking out from behind a decorative plant. The woman's eyes widened. Alden noticed where she was looking and gasped.
"OGERS SEIZE HER!"
