Valerie sat at dock wearing a white tube top and blue shorts with a sunhat as she waited for Ollie. Oliver was not the type of person to be late for something he's been waiting for weeks to come. The luggage was all loaded up on the Queen's Gambit and was ready to hit the Sea. From afar, walking towards the Gambit was a Brunette and Blonde. As they got closer Valerie made out 2 people to be Sara and Oliver.
Meeting them halfway, Oliver kissed Sara's forehead telling her he'd meet her on the boat. Valerie gave Oliver a confused look. "What the hell are you doing? Why's Sara here?" said Valerie.
Oliver shushed Valerie and pulled her to the side, "I thought it'd be a good idea to bring Sara along."
"Does Laurel know?" questioned Valerie. Oliver opened his mouth but no words came out. Valerie Shook her head as she began to walk away but Oliver held on to the top of her arm. "Are you gonna tell her?" He asked.
Valerie Scoffed. "I'm not going to tell Ollie, it's none of my business to. But you have to tell her at some point. Laurel deserved that."
"I know Val.." He said.
Valerie decided to cutted the awkward tension and wrapped her arm onto Oliver's neck. "So, 3 weeks on the Yacht with no paparazzi to punch." Valerie said with a grin as the 2 walked towards the Gambit. "Ha, ha-" said Oliver sarcastically and stopped. "-It only happened once."
She replied with a smile while she walked in front of him to board the Queen's Gambit.

Valerie was up at 11pm working on her essay. She was a Biology major studying to become a Er doctor. She was passionate about being a doctor. Even though she was always partying most nights, she always made time for college. And even if she wanted to fall asleep anyways, she couldn't because of the loud thunder coming from outside.
As the time went by the thunder became louder and louder. Valerie finally went out of her bed to check it out. She looked out the window and saw abnormal sized tides. While she walked back to bed dismissing all of it, suddenly the boat shook. Valerie thought to herself, 'what the hell?'
Another shake came after the other when the floor beneath Valerie pulled itself under the boat taking her with it. Valerie opened her eyes in shock and tried swimming out from under. She was running out of air when she finally pulled herself up.
The ocean was cold. Valerie looked around for something, anything that she could float onto. Minutes felt like hours until she finally found a broken piece of a wall from the gambit. She climbed onto the wall, pulling herself up to float on. As she looked to the now sinking Yacht, all she could think about was Oliver.
"OLIVER" she yelled. As she frantically looked for any sign of Oliver. 'Please please please be alive' Feeling distraught, anxiety began kicking in as she looked everywhere.. 'Please this can't be happening.'
"VALERIE" She heard. A fainted smile landed on Valerie as she felt so relieved. She thought she truly lost Oliver forever. "OLLIE, WHERE ARE YOU?" she yelled out, frantically looking for Oliver. "OVER HERE" he said, waving his hands like a cheerleader, rapidly on a life raft. She saw Oliver and 2 other people. Valerie began using her hands trying to paddle closer but nothing worked; so she jumped in the freezing cold water and began swimming towards the life raft.
Valerie swam what felt like forever till she finally made it 2 feet away from the raft. Oliver leaned onto the side of the raft grabbing Valerie's arms, pulling her up as she made her way in. She quickly pulled Oliver into a hug. "Ollie, thank god you're alright. I thought you didn't make it!" she cried. Tears began pouring down Valerie's face and started soaking Oliver's already wet shirt. As she pulled back from the hug she finally took a look on who was aboard on the raft. Beside's for her and Ollie, Robert, and one of the boat crew was also there.
