Chapter 5: Familiar Summoning

The opening ceremony began with the school song although you are not familiar with it but you enjoyed it. Seeing how everyone sang it together harmoniously. Dali sensei then passed over inviting Sullivan sama to give a welcoming speech and as you expected it. Everyone cheered for him, some even screamed out Sullivan sama as the next demon king.

Sullivan sama took the stage but he only boost about his grandson Iruma kun starting school today, he further showed everyone a photo of them. Taken at the school entrance banner, how cute tho embarrassing. Among the crowd you managed to spot him cowardly trying to hide his presence while covering his face. After Sullivan sama was finished he hoped off the stage and Dali sensei took over wanted to invite the top scorer of the freshman batch, Asmodeus Alice to give a representative speech. However changed abruptly to transfer student Iruma kun. Hmm poor kid look at him trembling as he walk up stage and froze when he reached the podium. Surely he must have realised this was all plotted by his grandpa.

Sullivan was clearly enjoying the show, filming even at the side of the hall behind the curtain. You then saw a piece of paper dropped in front of Iruma kun, most likely words of blessing from Sullivan sama. Blessing huh? More like forbidden curse, boy does not know what he was reciting. You grinned and laugh softly, Kalego noticed you yet decided to ignore...

After Iruma kun finish reciting the forbidden curse, the crowd erupted with cheers. Dali sensei and the others stepped forward to scold Iruma while you decided to stepped away since the opening ceremony was over and grabbed Sullivan sama by his collar on his back pulling him. He does not mind it since back when he always visited Baba, he would always play pranked on you so he let you pull him towards a corner to speak to him privately.

"Sullivan sama with all due respect, Iruma kun. Who is he? Or rather what is he?" You looked at him with your sharpest eyes. Sure, you respect him as he is one of the great threes but right now. One of the most important lesson Baba taught you, know what you're getting involved in no matter what. Know your foes and know your enemy better. Your eyes does not falter when you speak to one of the three greats.

Her intuition is spot on! As expected from Nabi chan personal assistant, (Y/N) chan. I guess there is no hiding from her. Sooner or later she will find out one way or the other. Sullivan giggle at your straightforwardness before he begun revealing the truth of Iruma kun in encrypted speech.

You immediately kneel down to Sullivan sama, clearly understanding why all this had to be kept a secret. It was also the first time you seen him speaking in encrypted speech and you know he is someone not be messed with. Suddenly you could feel Sullivan sama giving a pet on your head as acknowledgment, you quickly gave him a thanks and excuse yourselves from him.
