Xylos' Battalion Book One: The Champion

The Second Tournament Of Power Hydra P.O.V. Part Five

As Xylos flew off, I was finally able to breathe again. I didn't even realize that I was holding my breath until he left. Khabib, without saying another word flew off, leaving me and Razor there, without any idea on what to do next. We felt a large spike of energy and looked to our left, where we saw Kelub charging up his energy. He was facing the blue Saiyan who fought with the one who yelled final flash. "Don't you say that again!!!" He yelled as he charged up and I felt for the first time since I met him, immense power, from him of all people. Kelub is considered by everyone except for Xylos as the weakest member of the group. But now, he's giving off energy comparable to my natural form in my natural color. And his energy is still increasing. He thrust his arms and legs outwards and something seemed to come out of them. Then something erupted from his back. I then realized that it was four chains that erupted from his back. One on each corner, and his arms and legs also had chains. The weird thing that I noticed though, the chains were white, the color of human bones. Also, when I sensed his Ki, I felt those as not Ki extensions, but as an actual part of his body. All the chains wrapped around him as he yelled, "Chain Breaker!!!" There was a chain coming out of each of his wrists, one out of each bicep, four total on his back, one on each thigh, and one on each shin. I then look at his fingers and realize that they'd been changed to chains. He lifted his heels, and chains sprouted out of them and instantly started wrapping around his feet like shoes. His energy skyrocketed.

"Woah... You're really strong now. I can't wait to go at it." The Saiyan said. 

"Heh... Remind me to apologize to Xylos later... This form is badass..." He held his palm out and a long chain shot out of it and wrapped around the Saiyan. He threw him in our direction. He then noticed us, and immediately jumped up, shot a chain out of his other hand and tried to catch the Saiyan, but he vanished and reappeared right behind Kelub. He kicked the back of his head and he flew down to us. I was too busy staring. Kelub's power right now is unbelievable. His power right now is higher than my full power with my Obsidian Form, which as of right now, I can only use with my First Form. And before... My natural color's first form was way stronger than him. It would have taken an army of Kelub's to even put a scratch on me. But this... This is something else. He's way more powerful now. 'What happened to him...?' I wondered to myself. Razor held his hand out and touched my back. Suddenly, a surge of energy flowed through my body. I looked at him and he shrugged. 

"Your black form is stronger than my Potential Unleashed. You need the energy to transform. I don't. My strongest transformation is useless. I'll still use it to thin out the herd first, but other than that, I'm not sure how much use I am right now. Now, help out Kelub. I'm going to search for the others. I'll look at the stands to see who has been eliminated so far." 

"Alright you go do that. I'll help Kelub. See ya." He flew off, and I started charging up. "Obsidian Form!" I yelled, and suddenly, my body began to fade. Eventually, I was black, the color of coal with my shiny tissue being the only Obsidian part of my body as of right now.

"Ka... Me... Ha... Me... HA-" Said the Saiyan, but I cut him off by punching him in the gut. 

"Now Kelub!" 

"Right!" He jumped up and threw the chains coming out of his palms at the Saiyan and wrapped him up. "Time to say goodbye to the tournament friend!"

"Not on my watch!" He yelled, and he powered up so he had a red aura surrounding his blue one. The chains broke and dissolved. The tiny specks that were left flew into Kelub's body. He then went to punch Kelub but he blocked it with his arms. He then tried to kick Kelub in the side, but the chains wrapped around his body blocked it. Kelub then kneed him in the gut and put his fist together and slammed him into the ground. 

He thrust his right arm at him, and the chain around his right arm unwrapped around his arm and flew at the Saiyan. The Saiyan jumped to the left, and the chain followed. He then flashed to behind Kelub and I charged at him to help Kelub, but Kelub just spun around quickly and blocked his punch with his knee, and he slammed his right arm against the Saiyans head, causing the rest of the chain to wrap around it. He spun and as he did flew towards the ground. He slammed into the ground with the Saiyan's face breaking his fall. He got up and quickly made a throwing movement with his right arm and the Saiyan spun as the chain unwrapped around him as he flew toward the edge. "Kakarot! Quit fooling around!" He caught himself midair and laughed.

"Sorry Vegeta! It's just fun watching them grow stronger!"

"This tournament isn't about fun! It's about winning!" He then charged at Kelub with a Ki powered fist. Kelub tried blocking it with his right arm, but the chain wasn't wrapped around it, so the blow wasn't softened, and Kelub flew over to the Saiyan Kakarot, who placed his fists together and got ready to slam Kelub out of the arena but someone caught his fist and kicked Kelub into the arena. 

"Actually it is. That's why I asked for it. Because I wanted some fun." He then kicked Kakarot towards Vegeta and Vegeta hit him over to the side.

"What are you talking about?"

"I asked for the tournament. I asked G.O.D Khabib to ask Zeno to host another tournament."

"Really, what did he say?" Kakarot asked. 

Xylos sighed and placed his hand on his forehead. "What do you think?"

He was then hit in the back of the head by Vegeta and he yelled, "You idiot, we are in the tournament!" 

Suddenly, they both charged Xylos with incredible speed. I was pushed away because of the sheer force of their movements. But when I blinked, I saw Xylos' fist in both of their stomachs, a chain wrapped around one of their legs. I looked down and saw Kelub holding them both by the leg with a chain each. He thrust his arms up and then down, and the Saiyans tried to shoot him with Ki blasts, but Xylos kicked them down into the ground and Kelub jerked his arms back, causing the chains to wrap around his arms, and he ran to the Saiyans and punched them in the back right as they got up, and him and Xylos' Gravity Fist transformation were overpowering the two Saiyans. "Who knew... This one tournament made one of the weakest members of Xylos' Battalion, into one of the most powerful..." Razor said out loud.

Then someone grabbed my horns and slammed me into the ground. "And it seems like those who showed incredible power in the beginning are starting to slow down..." I got up, and as soon as I did, I got kicked so hard in my side that I lost my Obsidian Form and I flew out of the arena. 

"Hydra!" Kelub yelled. He thrust his hands at me and his chain fingers elongated and wrapped around me. But then they suddenly dissolved and all the energy from the chains flowed into him. "No Hydra!" He tried to jump to me but the person who knocked me out kicked him to the ground and stood on him with one leg. I tried to fly, but I already crossed the line. I just fell. Razor's long arms reached out for me and I reached out for him.

"Why don't you join him you stupid Namekian!" He yelled, kicking Razor into me, causing us both to go down even faster. The last thing I remember before being flashed to the stands was the voice of Xylos shouting out the name of the one responsible. 

"Mintz!"

My run was now over.
