Xylos' Battalion Book One: The Champion

The Second Tournament Of Power Durella's P.O.V. Part One

I gasped, placing my hands over my mouth as I saw Kelub take his last breath. All of my clones had went back into my original body, and since I didn't leave my recalled form, I didn't lose any of them. I saw Xylos standing there, devastated. Mintz started laughing and bragging about his power and how a Human had no chance, but I don't think Xylos heard a word. Mintz left his transformation and started to mock Xylos for his reaction. This angered me. I clenched my fists and charged up all of my power. "How dare you speak to him like that after killing his brother!" I sped towards him full speed and he blocked it. Before anything else could happen however, a large blast of energy erupted form Xylos, sending everyone, including Mintz flying. Just standing was difficult. I turned and saw Xylos standing there as he was before. No change in his face, his posture, his anything. He still just stood there, devastated, emotionless. Broken. Mintz attempted to knock him off with a ki powered punch, but that did nothing but make it worse as the power being expelled doubled. I glanced to the side and saw the Saiyan siblings struggle to stay on the arena. Pumkan tried to fly closer to the center of the arena, but as soon as his feet left the ground, he was thrown right out of bounds. 

"Pumkan!" Amy yelled. 

"Let's crawl!" Hezco suggested to her sister. They threw themselves on the ground, attempting to crawl towards the center of the ring. They had to exert an insane amount of their power to be able to do so, but it seemed like they were making progress. I even saw Khabib lose his balance and get thrown around. However, he was launched further into the ring, like me and Mintz due to where we were standing. A faint aura started to surround Xylos as he turned his head slowly towards Mintz. 

"What's going on!?" One of the saiyans from Universe 7 exclaimed. The one I believed was named Goku. 

"You... Killed..." Xylos started while a faint blue outline surrounded his body. "My... Brother!" As he shouted that last word, a final burst of energy erupted as he thrust his hands to his sides, screaming into the sky, tears filling his eyes. Lightning erupted around his body as the dark blue outline was solidified, his eyes gaining a dark blueish tint while the very center remained pitch black. He then vanished, ending the sudden burst of power, but it's effects were still felt. This final burst of energy threw me so far back I almost flew out of the arena from the other side, but a blue flash later, I was laying on the ground, in the center of the arena, and suddenly, I knew where Mintz was in relation to Xylos as well as where everyone else near me was located even though I couldn't see them. I knew where all of our opponents were in relation to Xylos. I thought this was strange. I even knew what he was doing, even though he was nowhere near me, and I couldn't see him. He was rushing Mintz, and winning. I flew up and to where he was and saw this new form he has achieved. The aura was almost non-existent other than a thick dark blue outline surrounding his body and the outline on the inside of his eyes. The strangest thing to me was, his hair hadn't changed color at all. I then blasted away a large chunk of debris and saw that I had a similar outline surrounding my body. I freaked out. I didn't recognize this aura. While I have absorbed plenty of Xylos' DNA in many different forms, those cells are no longer connected to him. They shouldn't react to what he does, but somehow it seems that they are. I watched in awe as Xylos avoided all of Mintz's attacks before landing a kick on the top of his head. He flew into the ground and Xylos instantly followed him, punching him even deeper into the ground. He bounced directly into the air again shooting a galaxy colored Ki blast at Mintz. Mintz flashed to behind Xylos and kicked him in the back of the head. Suddenly, I felt my own power spike as the aura, while still weak and barely visible, seemed to darken in color. Xylos retaliated with attacks of his own, throwing Mintz down to the ground then throwing him back up again. 

As they rapidly ascended, they got dangerously close to the barrier that eliminated the ability to fly so I shouted out to Xylos, despite knowing he wouldn't hear. "Xylos watch out!" Suddenly, Xylos stopped, powered up a Galactic Spiral and shot Mintz way past the upper barrier, disabling Mintz's ability to fly.
