Back at my Laminax Laboratory series, I see. You must really like this book. Also I highly recommend reading book one if you haven't yet, or this story probably won't make any sense. Anyways, onward we go.
Jake woke up from his usual sleep at the tree in the garden.
"Mghmmmm..." Jake said as he was waking up. He then yawned.
"Another peaceful day I guess." Jake said in a tired voice while still laying down. Jake then looked up at the sky and said, "I wish I could get out of this place. But it would be chaos if we left." "You're not the only one who wants to leave this place." Panther said. "Yeah, I know that." Jake replied, trying not to wake Plantix up. "I've been trapped down here for twenty-five years Jake." Panther said. "Yeah, and it gets boring real fast, even if we aren't trapped in containment cells." Jake replied. Plantix then yawned, waking up. Plantix rubbed her eyes."You two woke me up from talking." Plantix said in a tired voice. "Sorry." Panther said. Jake then got up. "Where you goin?" Panther asked. "To the cafeteria." Jake replied. "Alright." Panther said. Jake walked over to the cafeteria, wondering what to eat. He found perfectly cooked steak somehow on the trays. "Well, guess I'm going all in." Jake said while licking his lips. He knew he couldn't pick the steak up with his paws, so he just leaned over and took a bite. "Man, this is good. Who cooked this?" Jake said. "I did." A voice said behind him. "Ah!" Jake said while looking behind. There was a robot gootraxian behind him. "Did I scare you?" The robot asked. "Yeah." Jake replied. "What's your name?" Jake asked. "My name's Protogen." The robot gootraxian said. "Do you happen to know Harry, before he died?" Jake asked. "Yeah, I've been here in secret the whole time, until you came into my cafeteria." Protogen said. "Your cafeteria?" Jake asked. "Yeah, oh and by the way...that steak was mine." Protogen said. "Sorry. It just uh...doesn't look like you can eat with your face." Jake said. "Yeah, everyone says that. But I do have a mouth." Protogen replied. "So, about Harry?" Protogen asked. "Well, you look like one of his robot servants." Jake said.
"I was. Just a failed one." Protogen replied. "I wouldn't follow his commands, gave him a scratch across the face and ran." Protogen added onto his sentence. "Wow. Can't believe we have never seen you in the two year time gap between then and now." Jake said. "Yrah, I was hiding from you guys." Protogen said. "You know, maybe I'll join your little group you got going there." Protogen said. "Alright. I'll give you time to think about it." Jake said. Jake walked out of the cafeteria, back to the garden. "What took you so long?" Panther asked. "Well uh..." Jake said.
