I woke up feeling extremely refreshed for no particular reason. It was actually the first time I had slept in in awhile. And I wasn't disturbed at all either. Pan had stayed away all night. Even though I had a good nights sleep my laziness didn't change. I did absolutely nothing all day and Pan still hasn't disturbed me. That's a new record, a whole night and day without his annoyance though I still have tonight to get through.
I was just about to read a little in bed when I heard a suspicious sound from the deck. What was it I was saying about having peace? That pest of a scamp was back and I knew it, I can't go out to the deck like this he'll probably try to corner me. I ran my hands down my face and groan annoyed, throwing myself up from the bed and he put my shirt on and exited my cabin, the sight of his deck almost made my heart stop.
The deck looked cleaner than usual which was surprising, I heard a noise above me. I walked out a little and turned to see the back deck above my cabin. Pan was up there doing something. I groaned under my breath and made my way up the wooden stairs to see Pan standing there with a very large table the large cloth spread on said table that was covered in all sorts of delicious looking dishes and wine. Ok this was both weird and good because I was actually really hungry. "Good evening Captain Hook." Pan greeted politely, nearly making me laugh. "O-or should I call you-"
"No, now what do you want?" Pan looked back and forth between me and the table of food and shrugged. "I thought you might be hungry and maybe want to dine with me under the moonlight."
I burst out laughing before the boy was even done with his sentence, I'm sorry I couldn't help it. This was too hilarious, Pan wanted me to dine with him? What like a date? And I'm certainly amused by the look on his face confused yet hopeful I don't know what's gotten into him.
"I...but... I thought..." Pan mumbled awkwardly. I felt a little sorry for him because he looked so confused and he wasn't showing it much but upset too. He stood there fidgeting with his hands so nervously it was cute. "You thought what?" I asked him with raised eyebrows. "Um... I don't know." Pan mumbled, looking like he was searching his head for the words and it felt like I was actually going to get an explanation of just what has been going through that boy's head during all those sexual actions."Isn't this....." he paused for a moment before finishing his sentence. "Romantic?"
I unintentionally let out another laugh and still to cover best I could. I didn't was to discourage the boy but at the same time this was too much of a once in a lifetime thing to not laugh. "Romantic? Kid, you don't know the word Romantic never mind its meaning either." Though I was actually kinda lying because what dinner laid in front of me could definitely be considered romantic so he must have some idea of romance.
Since Pan just looked a bit sad and lost since I had said that I decided to just sit down and grab something to eat. I was starving after all. I sighed and looked up at Pan. "Sit down then and let's eat something." I have to admit it was a good feeling to see Pan's face light up and a smile appear when I sat down and told him to sit and eat with me too.
"You're lucky I'm starving otherwise I would not have been done with this conversation so easily." I saw nod trying to look serious but couldn't help himself from smiling and to be honest neither could I.
Though dinner was pleasant enough, I think there was something else on Pan's mind that he couldn't find the words to say or he didn't know how to say which made him leave after we ate with saddened and confused expression. It was now I had the sudden realization very deep down, he had actually been looking forward to the boy's visits every night. I enjoyed seeing him and talking to him when he wasn't being his selfish childish self.
Though it was obvious he wouldn't appear again tonight so I closed my door and windows, locking them so no heat escaped.
The next morning when I woke up I couldn't breathe due to the humid feel of the room and I stumbled out of bed to clumsily open the window to let air in. The room got cold sometimes at night which is why I closed them but when it was sunny the next morning the room became scorchingly hot. I got up and more awake as I got dressed and grabbed myself a glass of water downing it before I went up to the back deck to sunbathe.
Though my plans were shot through when I noticed the exact same set up of the table and cloth but with breakfast foods instead of dinner. Ok, then. If this was here, where is Pan? Cause he certainly isn't here, I looked around the deck again to double check but there was no sign of him.
There was a card on the table though that read: "sorray"
It was clearly Pan that had wrote it due to the A: spelling of the word "sorry" and B: the scrawny way it was written, definitely like a child handwriting.
It made me wonder though, had Pan ever had an education? I guess he's been here since birth so he must have had some sort of education or he wouldn't be able to talk properly because he wouldn't know words.
I sat down at the table and grabbed something to eat, whilst I didn't know what was going on nor did I know was Pan was thinking doing this, I could get used to every meal served like this.
