Me or You?

Movie Day

I sat on the bench for a few more minutes after Leah went to get her stuff. I was just staring into space until someone came and sat next to me.

"what you thinking about" Gio asked me.

"I don't even know" I chuckled as I shrugged my shoulders.

"cmon, you can tell me" she smiled

"Fine but please don't tell anyone, I mean anyone" I stared at her.

"I promise" she held her pinky out as I wrapped our pinkys together.

"I think I'm falling for Leah." I looked down. "and now I'm gonna go watch her movie with her and ill just be a mess"

"hey, don't stress about it, when you feel like you want to fully tell her, come to me and we'll talk through about what you can say and how to deal with it" she gets up and opens her arms for me.

I get up and lean into the hug sniffling ever so slightly. I see someone walk around the corner with packets of sweets in her mouth and a bowl of popcorn in the other hand. I smiled, a cheesy smile.

"you ready?" she half spoke as it was muffled by the sweets in her mouth.

"ye, let me just get my blanket and ill come up" I chuckled.

"okayyyyyy" she did a little jog to her room.

I pulled away from the hug with Gio as I was hugging her the whole time.

"you can do it, okay?" she shook my shoulders and ushered me inside.

I took a deep breath and walked to my room to get my warmest blanket and wrapped it around my body. Jesus christ, my mind was racing, I don't know what to do, does she like me to? Probably not. Before I knew it I was standing by her door, my hand hovering over it ready to knock. I gently knocked looking down at my feet.

She swung the door open nearly denting the wall.

"oh shit" she moved the door and look at the wall "it's good" she nervous chuckled. "anyway, come in" she shut the door behind me and jumped onto the bed. She had got Netflix on, sweets and popcorn at the bottom of the bed, extra pillows and blankets and last of all, dimly lit candles on the bedside tables.

"Le, this is amazing, it's only a movie day" I chuckled.

"ye well, it's you so it has to be special" she smiled and patted the space next to her on the bed.

I plopped myself down next to her and snuggled into my blanket and the covers.

"right, what you want watch?" she asked, sitting up a little.

"I'm not bothered" I looked up at her as I was more or less laying down.

"romance movie?"

"sure" was she planning something? I don't know.

She switched the film on and reached down to the bottom of the bed for some popcorn. She chucked a piece in her mouth.

"want some" she shook the bowl. I took a few pieces and put them in my mouth.

A few minutes later I looked over to Leah and she had some sweets on her teeth as fangs pulling a stupid face.

"your such a kid" I laughed.

"and you aren't?" she raised an eyebrow.

"no actually I am very mature" I grinned.

"hm okay, considering we're besties, can we cuddle? I'm cold" she looked at me.

"of course" I scooted up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist with my head on her chest as she put her arm around my back.

"ah, alot better" she buried her head into my hair.

"I hope my hair smells nice" I moved my head to look up at her.

"smells like cupcakes" she sniffed my hair.

We heard a loud knock on the door and it swung open.

"HI GUYS" Beth shouted.

"god you don't have an indoor voice do u" Leah mumbled as she was half asleep.

"nope, I don't but it's time for dinnerrrrr" she pulled the covers and blankets off us and dragged us both out of bed.

"ugh fine let us get changed first jesus"

"okay" she smiled and walked out.

"she's so annoying" I mumbled trying to find suitable clothes.

" I know, tell me about it, I had to room with her when you weren't in camp that time" she chuckled.

"ooo rough" I chucked on a jumper and some Nike leggings with crocs and headed downstairs with Leah.

"here they are! The lazy buggers" shouted Katie.

"haha" Leah fake laughed.

"well someone's moody and need food" Beth mumbled.

I laughed and sat down at their table.

"you not getting anything?" Katie asked.

"ill go up and get some pasta in a min" I smiled.

Once Leah came and sat down I went and got some pasta along with a glass of water. Once I went and sat down, Leah gave me a confused look. I brushed it off and sat down.

"how's everyone's family doing?" Steph asked.

That was probably the quickest I have ate a meal in my life. I got up and put my plate on the side. Walking off I put my hood up and went outside to the front entrance to sit on the benches.

Gio's Pov:

"she ok?" I looked at Leah.

"family" she mouthed to me.

"oh" I got up and went to find her until Leah pulled my arm back.

"Leave it mate, she'll just want some time alone" she looked up at me.

I nodded and sat back down.

Ever since she told me she was falling for Leah I knew I had to try and make her fall for me instead. I can't help but think about her all of the time and think of the things we can do together. She was perfect. She was shy but no so shy at the same time. I must have been thinking for a long time because most people had gone out and up to their rooms by now.

"you coming up?" Steph shook my shoulders.

"um ye" I smiled and got up.

5pm:

Lexi's Pov:

I was in a better mood now and brushed off what happened earlier behind me. Me and Gio were getting some old clothes on as we were going around Beth and Viv's house to help them decorate. Me, Gio, Steph, Katie and Leah were going around to help.

We arrived at about quarter past 5 and turns out we were last there.

"here they are! Took you long enough" Beth exclaimed.

"hey! You said between 5 and half past 5!"

"exactly" I smirked.

"oh shush you sassy kids" Beth dragged us towards the wall.

"right, you two will be painting the wall, Leah and Katie are painting the ceiling, and Stephy is adding little details."

"and what are you doing Beth" I asked.

"Me and Viv are watching and maybe making food for you if your nice" she looked at Viv and laughed.

"hm ok"

We got on with attempting to paint the wall, however I couldn't reach up very far as I am only small so Gio had to do most of it. Every now and then I saw Leah look at me and smirk. God...

This is going to be a long night......
