Physical Appearance: She is a beautiful Nightmaren with a slim, feminine figure, beige skin, and blue eyes with slitted pupils. She wears a pink and magenta striped jester hat, a long-sleeved magenta dress underneath a white and pastel pink frilly apron, pink boots, and a gold ring on her left ring finger. Sometimes, she'll wear a white cloak instead of her hat, which covers her long, wavy golden-blonde hair. Despite her ability to change height, she prefers to stand at 5'4.

Personality: Kalpana is a kind, sweet, and motherly Nightmaren who, like NiGHTS, seeks to help Visitors regain their Ideya. She loves her two children equally and is heartbroken to learn that Reala chose to stay loyal to Wizeman. She is rather fearful of her husband and does all she can to stay away from him. Despite this, she has her brave moments and will step in if anything happens.

Domain: Her domain oddly resembles a comforting house with a large entrance that has two deep pink couches, a fireplace, and a white coffee table that sits in front of the couch. In the far back is a dining table with four chairs and a small kitchen area. There are a flight of stairs that lead up to both NiGHTS's room and Kalpana's room. The walls are the same shade of green as the Ideya of Growth and the floors are black and white marble. A portrait of her with Wizeman, NiGHTS, and Reala can be seen hanging on one of the walls. Visitors that enter this domain claim to feel "at home".

Backstory: Kalpana was born in an unknown place located in the Night Dimension. She lived a peaceful life as a bright young maiden until, one fateful day, Wizeman attacked her home. When the Nightmare God saw Kalpana, he gave her the ultimatum; either she agrees to be his wife and queen or witness her home get destroyed. Not wanting the latter to happen, Kalpana reluctantly agreed to become Wizeman's wife. The two then got married, but despite this, Kalpana feared her new husband and would struggle everyday to prevent herself from angering him. At an unknown point in time, Kalpana would later get pregnant and give birth to twin First-levels; NiGHTS and Reala. Even though she was afraid, Kalpana grew to love her children unconditionally. Once the twins were fully grown and trained to be the strongest, NiGHTS rebelled against Wizeman, causing Kalpana to leave with her.

Other facts: Her powers are colored white, representing the Ideya of Purity. She is also a great cook as she prepares NiGHTS and Reala meals entirely from scratch. She has yet to be found by her husband. Her gold ring has Wizeman's eye on it and she, therefore, cannot take it off. When she's not helping Visitors out, she can be seen either washing laundry, washing dishes, cooking, harvesting fruits, vegetables, and herbs or watering her flowers and crops that grow in her garden, located behind her domain. Her domain is located far away from Nightmare.
