Would you walk in, would you let me do it first?

"Tobias James Smith," the receptionist called out. It had been a week since Tubbo got to Tommy's house. Tommy insisted to Tubbo that he should stay so he could help him deal with any blackouts, hallucinations, or nightmares. Thankfully he stayed with Tommy because his mental state deteriorated even more as the days passed by.

Nightmares that were hard to snap out of, thinking that he was still friends with Ranboo only to wake up to the horrifying cold reality that his tall masked friend wasn't there. Hallucinations that seemed too real to be fake. If only he could live in his own utopian reality forever.

Tommy looked at Tubbo and nodded. A nurse walked out of the hallway and walked towards their direction.

"Follow me to the examination room," she said cordially.

The two men stood up and followed the nurse into the hallway and into Room 404.

"Come on in," the nurse gestured, as she opened the door.

"That's Gogy," Tommy whispered. Tubbo giggled. The nurse spun around and raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing," Tommy replied quickly.

Luckily, the nurse seemed indifferent. "Would you like to stay with the patient in the room?" she asked.

"I'm allowed to do that?"

"I mean, you can until his examination starts. However, the patient may give you his consent to join him if you will," she explained.

"Uh, Tubb-Toby, do you want me to stay or leave?"

Tubbo, who was already sitting on the examination table-bed nodded, "yeah, I'd like to have a friend with me right now."

"Alright then, the doctor will see you shortly, please call me if you need anything using the "Nurse" button on the telephone," the nurse said, pointing toward a black telephone attached to the wall. She grabbed a couple papers and left, closing the door behind her.

Tubbo sat in silence as he stared up at the ceiling runes. His blue eyes wide with unreadable emotion. Suddenly, the door clicked and the doctor walked into the room. She looked as if she was around her late thirties or early forties. Tubbo felt relieved that she was probably somewhat middle-aged. He really didn't want someone who knew about him from online to know about his personal health.

"Hello Toby, I'm Dr. Lambert. I'll start with physical check-ups. Since you have someone with you today, and this isn't a regularly scheduled appointment, any boundary lines you would like to draw? For example, is it okay for me to look at your privates?"

Tubbo nodded, "uh, no privates. And I'm more concerned about my mental health than physical."

Dr. Lambert sucked her cheeks in. "I apologise, but as I am primarily a physician doctor, I cannot do much for mental health issues, however, I may redirect you to a therapist later," she said softly.

"Oh, uh okay then-thanks" Tubbo replied.

The doctor placed her fingers on his lymph nodes. She pressed on other certain parts of his back before she placed her stethoscope onto them.

"Could you please tell me about what kind of issues you've been having?" she asked as she checked the brunette's heart beat.

"Uh, I've been blacking out a lot yesterday I guess," Tubbo mumbled.

Tommy listened, curious to find out what it was like from his friend's perspective.

"I don't really know why-"

Tommy looked up from his seat and gave Tubbo a look. Blue eyes met blue eyes and Tubbo flinched in discomfort.

"Well, I think I do, but I really don't want to talk about him- I mean the thing. It's just-"
