"How did therapy go?" Tommy asked as they both sat down on his couch.

Tubbo shrugged nonchalantly, "it was fine." His eyes however, were noticeably puffy and red.

"If you don't wanna share, you don't have to. But I can pay for some more therapy sessions," Tommy replied, unbothered by Tubbo's aloof behaviour. He couldn't help but wonder if therapy would crack the act but it seemed to barely make a dent into the ice. It still didn't matter much to Tommy, as he was quite used to Tubbo's blunt nature.

"No, it's fine, the therapist said she could offer like the next two therapy sessions to be reduced-cost," the brunette replied.

"Was there anything the therapist recommended doing?" Tommy asked.

Tubbo shook his head.

Now was his second therapy session. Sarah greeted Tubbo and invited him to sit on the sofa at the other corner of the room. What unsettled him a little were the pillows. On opposite ends of the couch laid a black pillow and a white pillow.

"Everything alright?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah, uh, black and white were Rain's uh- representative colours," he replied.

Sarah nodded and got out her clipboard, "Toby, from what I've gathered last time, I believe you are dealing with post-traumatic relationship syndrome or PTRS. And I'll explain it. It's not really an official term. But in short, based on my observations, you are dealing with emotional and mental distress after experiencing the end of a significant relationship."

Tubbo was barely able to comprehend what she was saying, "then why didn't I think about it much until Rain don- messaged me?"

Sarah put down her clipboard, "how was it like after the breakup? You told me last time it was a sharp break and then everything else that remained just faded out slowly."

Like a glass shatter, a penetrating and stinging memory broke out, crashing down the walls he created himself to block out any feelings for his relationship with Ranboo. He was immediately rewinded back to the fight as well as the trials and tribulations that happened a couple days afterward.

"I can't deal with this Ran!" Tubbo shouted.

Ranboo looked at the boy standing across from him, "no please, we've been through so much together. What about all the promises we've made to stay together?"

"And I don't think we can get through this. We're both not strong enough for this friendship."

"I- We've both sacrificed so much for this friendship and it's like we started shifting apart one day and now you're actually telling me you want to break up? This friendship that we've been having for years?"

"You're saying this as if we had spent a century together. Face it, it's only been a bit more than like two years. I was right when I said that I cut ties with the wrong people easily. And forget about our marriage on the Dream SMP," Tubbo retorted in annoyance. What was so hard for Ranboo to just understand?

"Tubbo, you can't-"

"I'll call Dream and Wilbur about it and tell them that we'll have our characters get a divorce. And fuck, I'll never talk to you again. I really don't want to deal with this, with any aftermath, with you." Despite how easy it was for him to simply yell out, he couldn't even hear nor believe what he was saying.

"Look Tubbo, I can't believe you! I've done my best. I comfort you, I motivate you, all you do is forget everything and now this happened. I've done my best to be nice to you. And you're acting like I mean nothing to you or this friendship-"

"It's not completely my fault, you also caused it, you prick! I do not mean anything to you, you also mean nothing to me."

"That's IT. I'm done with everything about this now. Fuck you, and fuck this friendship, I'm leaving! I'll just leave!" Ranboo shouted.
