Marias/ your Pov

I woke up to the loud annoying sound of my alarm clock. I turn over and check the time. "It's 6am?! Are you fucking kidding?!" I say completely forgetting that today is the day I have to say goodbye to my best friend Brianna. I have been best friends with her since we were in kindergarten and I was not ready to say goodbye.

Eventually I get up and walk to the bathroom opening the door and turning on the light. I squint my eyes to the brightness of the white lights. I look in the mirror and sigh, while my eyes start tearing up as I remember Im leaving soon. " I mean I guess it's better to start new." I say to myself. I walk over to the shower turn it to warm and strip down stepping into the warm shower. While the water flows down my skin I do some self care such as, shaving, exfoliating, and using my favorite vanilla bean body wash.

I step out of the shower and wrap myself in my towel. I check the time and it's now 6:30. "It took me 30 minutes to shower?!" I scoff. I feel a little more pressured and rushed knowing I have to be at Briannas by 8am. I quickly throw on some u der wear and run to my closet to choose an outfit.

I choose what Im gonna wear grab my purse, phone, keys, wallet and other necessities and head downstairs to grab some food. I walk out of my room and walk down the stairs immediately greeted by my little sister and mom already eating. I run to the kitchen and grab a banana and coffee. "Where are you headed Mar?" My mother says. "Oh im goung to Briannas to say my goodbyes, I'll be home shortly!" I say back. "Okay hon just don't be too late we have to pack up for the move!" She says. I nod and head out the door. I walk to my Honda S2000 hopping in and starting it. I finally arrived at Brianna's house parking my car and heading to the door.

*knock knock knock* I knock about three times and just before I knock a fourth time the door swings open. "Oh my god hi Maria!" Bri says in an excited tone. "Hey." I say in a much less excited tone. "Whats wrong Mar? Is everything okay?" "Yeah yeah everything is fine. I just have some news for you." We walk upstairs to her room and I immediately get to talking.

"So Bri.. Me and my family have been talking about this for some time and we finally made the decision to move to Germany." I say a little nervously. "Wh-what." She says in a soft voice. "Listen! Im so sorry and we wi-" she cuts me off by saying " No no . It's okay. As long as your happy im happy." She says with a smile. A smile starts to form on my face knowing shes still happy. " but don't worry we will call everyday, we can visit a few times a year and everything will be just fine." (Or will it🤫)
Well listen I have to get going my mom wants me home to start packing.
F F (fast forward).
I finish packing and plop down on my bed in exhaustion. "Well I guess thats all of it." I say out of breath. I feel like I need to shower but I completely shrug it off and just get into bed. I start to close my eyes when I get a phone call..
