Miles and Gwen continued to swing around the city, catching up with each other. The duo were full of energy, performing exhilarating aerial tricks.

"Screw this..." Y/n sighed as he tossed his broken watch into a nearby trash can, memories was flooding his mind.

"I'm not done with you Y/n! Will meet again and I'm going to make your life worse!"

"No, we won't..." Y/n pulled out a tube filled with a wriggling black goo. "This is so frustrating."

Meanwhile...

"This kid...how is he travelling in another dimension!" Miguel watched Y/n through a hologram screen. "Is he out of his damn mind?"

"Come on, Miguel, he's just a kid. I know he sent a symbiote to another universe in the incident, but we can fix this," Peter B said, trying to calm Miguel down.

"There's no fixing it! He sent a symbiote that can travel the multiverse, Peter! He's become an anomaly himself!" Miguel started breaking things in his frustration.

"That's quite odd for you to say that Y/n is supposed to be a villain in his own universe," Hobie said, lying down on a desk.

"It's fate... Why are you even here? You two are frustrating me!" Miguel stormed out of the room, angry and upset.

Y/n swung through Queens, secretly following Miles and Gwen. There was a burning pain inside him as he observed Gwen not acknowledging him.

As he traversed the city, Y/n discovered the existence of the Spider Society, an elite group of spiders. This raised further questions for him.

Miles and Gwen gracefully swung through the air until they landed atop a magnificent clock tower.

"This is an incredibly captivating spot for deep contemplation," Gwen declared, confidently positioning herself on the tower's pinnacle.

"You're absolutely right. Who needs a monotonous treadmill when we have the majestic Willamsburg Bank building?" Miles concurred. He hesitated for a moment before broaching a sensitive topic. "So, uh... have you managed to have that conversation with your dad yet?"

Gwen let out a sigh and strode toward the edge, where she leaned against it, surveying the view while checking her watch. "What else is there to discuss? 'Hey, Dad. How has life treated you in recent months?'." She paused, her voice tinged with frustration. "Do you still believe I am responsible for the death of my best friend?"

"Well...maybe parents I mean, maybe if I told them-"

"Gwen deftly tied her hair back into a sleek ponytail before positioning herself upside down, firmly affixed to the tower's surface.

"Don't," she responded firmly, her gaze fixated on the world from an inverted perspective. "Trust me on that."

Miles settled into a seat nearby, contemplating Gwen's words. "Well... Maybe some things are just meant to be ours."

Gwen responded with a smile, acknowledging Miles' perspective. "That's a comforting way to look at it."

"I like to think of myself as emotionally intelligent, beyond my years," Miles added with a hint of pride, earning a light chuckle from Gwen.

"You know, talking to you is always such a pleasure," Gwen expressed, her eyes fixed on Miles.

"Yeah?" Miles replied, taking a seat beside her, his interest piqued.
