I was in pain. Physically and mentally. I stared at Daphne who was sitting next to me caressing my face gently. I smiled weakly at her.

"Detective or not ... you still care about me Daphne."

She stared at me with teary eyes.
"We belong to each other. You just have to come out of your shell." I said.

"I have to take you to the doctor." She let go of my face. The cold breeze of air proving the emptiness on my cheek.
"Don't." I grabbed her wrist.
"Niall you're bleeding." She said.
"Take me home. We have a trustworthy doctor there." I instructed her.

She nodded ripping off her sleeve. She used the piece of clothing to cover my wound and apply pressure so I won't loose too much blood. With her help I sat in the car. Daphne sat behind the wheel and Mia in the passenger side.

"Her." I pointed at Mia.
"We should get rid of her." I said patting my pockets forgetting that Daphne took away my gun.
"I can't leave her in the middle of nowhere Niall." Daphne and started driving.
"She can't come with us." I said.

"I-"
"Let me go in middle of town. I'll go back home from there." Mia said cutting Daphne off.
"I ... fine." Daphne agreed.
I leaned my head back against the window letting out a heavy sigh.

Daphne thought because my family were criminals, I became a criminal. Yes they did have their influence, but, once I grew older and became an adult, I knew what was happening.

I knew the right and the wrong. The good and the bad. I chose the bad. I chose to do the wrong.
It's more fun and thrilling. It's more exciting. I always chose the bad side and I always dragged those I care about with me to the wrong side of the tracks. I want them to share the same experience as me.

I closed my eyes a bit. But then I couldn't open them. Everything was dark. Sounds were fading away. My soul felt tired. My body felt numb.

Am I dying?

If I die, who takes care of Hazel?

If I die, who will Daphne end up with?

Tom?
