"where's nessa?" you asked your other friend who was faded on her couch but she was no where to be seen.
"dunno." he grumbled making you sigh as you began searching the apartment, the small girl couldn't be far.
you entered the laundry room, seeing the girl sitting in a ball on the floor, her vape clenched in her hand.
"you good?" you asked, sitting next to her. "im tired. i want everyone to go home. this partying every day and night isn't what i thought it'd be."
you wrapped your arm around her, pulling her in close. "i told you this rebellious thing was a bad idea from the start, didn't i?" you said softly, "you did."
"and what else did i say?"
"what else did you say?"
you shrugged a little, "i dont know if you'd. remember it, i said it when we were 14 but im sure it'll come to you."
she smiled a little, "you said you'd take care me no matter what." she answered, "yeah. no matter what. i'll send everyone home, and you get in bed."
she hugged you tightly, "im really glad i have you."
