Bruno instantly put his hand on my waist and pulled me closer in possessiveness.
"Hey dad, what are you doing here?" I asked my father who was glaring at Bruno dangerously. Besides, he ignored me anyway.
"So he's your dad." Bruno whispered in a very frustrated tone followed by a sigh.
"Yes i'm her father, get away from my daughter, valerie get away from him." I stood still like a statue.
"Valerie what are you doing?, get over here right now." My father ordered.
I was about to go to him when Bruno's grip tightened.
"Where she's going is home with me, she's my mate." Shock was what's written on my father's face when he heard Bruno's words.
"M-Mate?" Dad said starstruck.
"Yes dad what's wrong with that?" I asked confused.
"He's alpha of the biggest Lycan pack in America and you're asking me what's wrong."
"Wait a second, how did we not smell or notice that? Okay his wolf is golden and extremely huge and... Oh okay". Spark shut her mouth when she realised that we really were dumbfounded.
I put my hand over Bruno's hand that was on my waist squeezing it a little.
"And what is exactly wrong with that father?"
"He's very dangerous honey, he's heartless and he's an alpha with blood lust, do you know how many packs he took over or how many innocent people he killed? They even say he killed his own parents to become the leader of his pack. Oh and i didn't even mention the funny part, he was only 10 years old. Don't you see he's a piece of shït." My dad sneers our way.
"Valerie that's not true." Spark said quietly.
"I know spark."
I felt Bruno's anger through our bond and i squeezed his hands more.
"Father, he will never hurt me and i'm sure everybody has their reasons and don't tell me you never killed anyone. Dad i'm not a little girl and i will go wherever my mate goes. And please don't believe every rumor you hear, that's not so smart for an alpha father."

"Valerie, you're blinded." He said with a weak voice.
I let go of Bruno, he pulled me but i gave him a look to let me go. I need this.
I ran to my father and hugged him so tightly to reassure him. He hugged me back and patted my back softly.
"Please take care of yourself." He whispered softly, his voice holding love and sadness.
"I will Papy."
I kissed his cheek and he kissed my forehead holding my cheeks in his hands.
"I'm going with them too." Skye shouted randomly.
"Where did that come from?" I asked her through our mind link.
"I have no idea but i look like a fool so you might just make it worth it and say okay or anything" She replied foolishly.
"Yes and Skai is coming with me too father i can't go there alone, you know i have to have someone look over me." I said trying to make sense.

After finishing things off with my father, i got with Skai and Bruno.
"We need to go to our pack house before we go to yours first." I said to Bruno.
"What for?" He asked.
