After finishing my meal, I ventured out of the house to explore the area and do some shopping. The sunny day cast a warm glow upon the streets, and remnants of melted snow could be seen in the corners. I walked along, taking in the sights and trying to familiarize myself with my new surroundings. Eventually, I stumbled upon a mall, realizing that I needed warmer clothes to brave the Canadian weather. I made my purchases and treated myself to a refreshing chocolate shake at a nearby coffee shop.

As I stood at the counter, paying for my shake, I noticed a Bengali girl serving customers. My heart skipped a beat as I realized she was from my own country. Excitement welled up within me, and I greeted her warmly, striking up a conversation. We spoke for a while, sharing stories of our journeys and the challenges of being in a foreign land. It felt comforting to connect with someone who shared a common background and language.

Leaving the coffee shop, I continued my exploration of the area. However, as the day progressed, I noticed the sky growing darker, signaling the approaching evening. Realizing I hadn't yet prepared dinner, I stopped by a convenience store and bought some noodles for a quick and easy meal. With the noodles in hand, I made my way back home.

Upon entering the room, I freshened up and settled down to eat. The fatigue from the day's activities began to catch up with me, and after performing my prayers, I drifted off into a deep sleep, seeking respite from my tiredness. The next morning, before the break of dawn, I woke up for Fajr salah (morning prayer). Following the ritual ablution, I completed my prayer and contemplated preparing breakfast in the kitchen. It was my first day at the university, and I needed to start my day early.

Entering the kitchen, my eyes fell upon a sink filled with abandoned dishes, and a knife lay nearby, stained with what appeared to be blood. I reasoned that it was probably remnants from some meat or perhaps another discarded pig steak. Not dwelling on it, I noticed a radio sitting on the kitchen counter. Curiosity got the better of me, and I switched it on, allowing music to fill the space as I began cooking.

The sun gradually rose, casting its golden rays upon the world outside. As I listened to the music, enjoying the tranquil ambiance, the radio suddenly crackled with eerie noises. It was as if I heard a faint voice pleading for help emanating from the radio. In the next moment, everything returned to normal, leaving me perplexed. I dismissed it as my imagination, attributing the odd experience to my fatigue.

Deciding to turn off the radio, I resumed cooking my breakfast. After enjoying a satisfying meal, I readied myself for the day ahead and set off for my university, eager to embark on this new chapter of my academic journey.
