The Guardians Strike

Peppino rowed the boat back the way they came. Two friends who found success in the form of a blue orb and riches, both unaware of what entites lie beneath them. Mushroom hummed a tune that she heard before being transported into the realm on Minecraft by a glitch of unknown origin. She couldn't remember what the name of the song was but it had something to do with ancients and hybrids. Perhaps a tune from Jurassic World?

Peppino feels proud of what he was able to achieve. Being able to go out with a friend who is yet to experience pain in the future. He had dreamt of a moment where he found something that could aid him in balancing his resturant. On the other end of the spectrum, Sausage waits for Mushroom at the end of the line, ignorant to the horrible decision she will make which will cost her their relationship.

Deep below the two lies The Guardians and 3 Elder Guardians who were stalking them throughout the journey to find the heart. The Guardians grew impatient, wanting to strike them now but their elders telepathically assure them to wait until they pass the monument. They paitently wait for them to pass the monument whilst Peppino and Mushroom are engulfed with pride and success.

It takes them a while to get to the ocean monument, both man and machine have taken quite a journey to get here. But it is worth it at the end of it all.... For one of them. Once they all reach the monument, the 3 elder guardians create distress in Peppino. Giving him a headache with their powers. Peppio groans in pain, Mushroom stops humming and checks up on Peppino

Mushroom: Peppino, are you okay?

Peppino: No, I got this headache out of nowhere. I can feel a pulse within my head.

Mushroom: Peppino, just tell me if you need me to take over okay?

Peppino: Okay Mushroom.

The Guardians below them heard Peppino's groan and knew the plan was going the way they wanted to. They upped the anti a bit by sending the same pulse to his head, making the pain worse. Peppino groans in pain as he lays on his back, holding his head. Mushroom picks up Peppino and puts him on her lap while checking to see if he's ok. 

In Mushroom's eyes, she sees a weakened man. In Peppino's eyes, he sees his sister. He blinked his eyes twice and sees his sister, Peppina Ramen, in a military outfit. Peppino gets up and backs away from her, his breathing worsens as he is sweating immensly. The sound of bombs being dropped can be heard with planes on the horizon. He looks down to see that he himself is wearing a military outfit.

All he could hear is guns being fired along with the constant chattering of her sister. He turns around and sees a single red eye surrounded by a cloud of darkness. He gazes at the thing in complete madness as more eyes appear from the cloud. The cloud comes every closer to him as he approaches his sister. He turned around to see that is sister became a figure of rock and tar with that same red eye glaring at him. 

The next thing he sees is the red eye rushing towards him as he's being dragged into the ocean. Back in the real world, Mushroom saw one of the Elder Guardian's dragging Peppino into the ocean, while the other Guardians were trying to get her into the water. Desperate to save Peppino, Mushroom pulls out one of the worst weapons possible: A Golden Sword.

She dives underwater trying to reach Peppino. The other Guardians were trying to get her to the surface, trying to make her stay where she is. Mushroom fought them off with that little service the sword could provide. Once it broke, she took two pieces of the gold part of the sword and swam down. 

The small Guardians came after and only got their single eye stabbed out by her, leaking blood in the water and effectively blinding them. 15 of The Guardians paid the price. Her time to save Peppino was getting shorter and shorter by the second because she needed to resurface or else she would drown. With what litte breath and strength she had left, she swam to the Elder Guardian dragging Peppino and stabbed the tail of the creature, making it turn around and face her with Peppino in its deformed mouth.

Mushroom stabbed the creature in it's single eye, causing it to release an ear piercing scream. She grabbed Peppino and rushed to the surface. She could feel her breath decreasing as she struggles to make it to the surface. She manages to make it to the boat and hops on the boat. She takes a deep breath as she prepares to do CPR. 

Before she could even touch Peppino's lips, the two other Elder Guardians roared and revealed themselves to mushroom, swimming towards the two. Mushroom wasted no time and began to row the boat as fast as she could. The two remaining guardians were leaping out of the water to try and reach her faster. Two malformed mouths formed within the guardians as they came closer.

Mushroom looked behind her to see one of the guardian's with their mouth open, ready to gobble her and Peppino up. Mushroom desperately looks in her inventory while rowing the boat at the same time. She pulls out a crossbow with fireworks on it. She takes aim and fires it in the mouth of the beast, stunning it for a bit. The Elder Guardian that was shot comes back for revenge. Mushroom pulls out a golden axe and throws it at the Guardian's eye, making its sink deeper into the ocean.

There was only one Elder Guardian left.

Mushroom kept on rowing as fast as she could while the guardianr pursues them. The Elder Guardian goes underwater to give them a surprise. Mushroom turns around to see that the monster wasn't there anymore. It had vanished. She stopped rowing for a moment to check on Peppino, who was motionless. 

She does CPR for him but isn't the greatest at that. She tries her best and it pays off because he awakens from his state.

Peppino: M-Mushroom?

Mushroom: Peppino! You're awake!

Peppino: Wha-What happened?

Mushroom: You had a massive headache and fell down. You got dragged by those guardians and  they're pissed off.

Peppino: Are they still following us?

Mushroom: I killed 15 of the small guardians and the 2 elders. 1 of the elders is following us but I think it gave up.

Peppino: Hopefully it did. I think my headache is gone

Mushroom: Thats good. Now sit still because we're almost at the base.

Peppino: Ok

Mushroom sits down and begin to row the boat. Not even a minute later, the last Elder Guardian leaps out of the water and breaks the boat into two pieces. The three of them land in the water and the Elder Guardian swims towards Mushroom. It clamps it jaws on her right leg and swims towards the bottom on the ocean to drown her. Mushroom pulls out the only piece of the gold sword in her hands and repeatedly stabbed the elder on the side, causing it to release her.

Because of her injuries, she had a hard time swimming to the surface and so she was sinking at a concerning rate. Peppino grabbed her and swam to the surface, allowing her to hold onto a piece of the broken boat. 

Mushroom: Thank you.....

Peppino: You're welcome. But now I must assure that I can guarantee your saftey. Goodbye

Peppino swims towards the Elder Guardian to battle with it. Mushroom pulls out the crossbow with fireworks on it and shot them. Back on dry land, Sausage was waiting for them to come back. She was ready to set sail when she suddenly saw the fireworks and knew that Mushroom needed help. Without question she got on the boat and rushed to the aid of Mushroom.
