I walked out of the room with a boys uniform on, no glasses and a sheepish smile formed on my lips. Once everyone saw me, their jaws dropped.
Especially Hikaru's.
"W-what's wrong? Does something look funny?"
"N-no! You look great!"
Hikaru blurted out. Everyone looked at him as his face turned red with embarrassment. My face was also heating up when I felt arms wrap around me from behind.
"K-Kaoru! What are you-"
He cut me off by lightly running his finger tip over my lips.
"You look so cute that I almost can't hold back..."
Hus face started to come closer and closer to mine. Then his face quickly was pulled away from mine, before he could kiss me, by Hikaru.
"Keep away from her!"
Everyone was surprised by his actions. His face got even redder after he said that. He let go of Kaoru and started to run away.
"Hikaru! Wait!"
I ran after him all the way outside.
"J-just go away!"
He yelled as he tried to ran faster.
"Hikaru! Wait! Please!"
I grabbed his arm but tripped on something and accidentally tackled him.
"Uhh... S-sorry..."
I looked up to see that our faces were inches apart.
Both of our faces heated up and were very warm.
"Umm..."
I watched as Hikaru's face came closer and closer to mine. I could feel his breath on my lips. But he stop then because he heard a low growl of a cat.
"Crap..."
I slowly looked over to the left of us to see the black cat. My brother.
'What the hell are you two doing?!'
I heard in my head.
'I-... Don't ask me because I don't know."
I looked at the cat for a minute then tried to shoo it away.
"Go on! Shoo!"
But the cat just sat there.
"Uggh..."
I realized I was still practically laying on Hikaru so I moved and piced up the cat.
"I'll be right back."
I said as I started to run.
"Akiko!"
"Sorry! I'll be back though!"
I ran to the garden and sat in the gazebo.
"Ok... What do you want?"
"I need to tell yoy something."
The cat spoke. And I don't mean in my head. I mean out loud!
"You can talk out loud now?!"
"I guess so... Yeah! That's what I wanna talk about. In the next couple minutes I will turn back into a human."
I felt over joyed.
"R-really?! Are you telling me the truth?!"
"Why would I lie about that?!"
Then the cat started to glow.
"W-what's going on?!"
"The curse is breaking!"
Then the light died down and showed a young boy that looked like me but a little older.
"Haha! I'm human again!"
He hugged me tightly and I hugged him back.
-Hikaru's POV-
I tried following her but got lost. I know what you're thinking. I go to this school so I shouldn't get lost yet somehow I did. I walked in the garden and looked at the gazebo to see Akiko hugging a guy I had never seen before. For some reason, I wanted to run over there and pull them apart. Then I noticed tears running down Akiko's face. I couldn't help it. I worked up my courage to walk over there.
-Akiko's POV-
I was crying so much that it was hard to see because it made my contacts go out of place.
"Heh... You're wearing contacts?"
He asked as he wiped the ones on my cheeks away.
"Akiko."
I heard Hikaru's voice from behind me.
"Yes Hikaru?"
"Who's this?"
"Oh! This is my brother! The curse was lifted a minute ago so he looks like a guy again! Isn't that awesome?!"
It seemed like Hikaru started to blush.
"What's up?"
"N-nothing... Well... Come with me for a moment."
He walked over to me and grabbed my hand.
"Oh... Ok. You should go back to the room with everyone else and explain. Also, try to keep out of sight of the girls."
"Ok. See ya!"
Akio said with a smile as he ran in the direction of the school. After Akio was out of sight, Hikaru pulled me infront of him.
"Walk forward until I tell you to stop, alright?"
"Alright..."
I cautiously walked forward.
"Walk a little faster would you?!"
"Sorry!"
I picked up my pace and walked ahead.
"Hey! Now your walking to fast!"
Hikaru then grabbed my wrist and tried to turn me around but when he did we tripped on a tree root and fell.
"O-oww..."
I slowly opened my eyes to see that Hikaru had accidentally fallen on top of me. Again, his face was mere inches away from mine.
"H-Hikaru..."
"D-don't speak..."
He came closer until our lips met slightly but seemed to chicken out when he was so close. He backed away and looked away.
"Hikaru..."
"Don't tell anyone about what just happened..."
"I won't. I promise. Just... One thing."
"Yeah?"
He turned towards me and I caught him into a passionate kiss.
