NEYTIRI and Sarah jumped off of the root, beside Jake who was surrounded completely, "Calm, people, calm."
Sarah checked Jake's wound, noticing it opened once again. She sighed, hitting him on the head, "I told you not to follow." Her frown was shown, but she looked up and made eye contact with Tsu'tey, stunning him for awhile.
"What are you doing, Tsu'tey?" He broke the eye contact, looking at Neytiri, "These demons are forbidden here." Sarah's ears pricked at him calling her that, she lowered her head. "There has been a sign. This is a matter for the Tsahik!" Tsu'tey contemplated it before ordering, "Bring them!"
Jake was restrained, so was Sarah, "Careful. He is wounded!" Sarah warned the na'vi restraining him and she was quickly pushed to move, "Let's ride!" Tsu'tey instructed and the Pali riders and na'vi on the ground jogged.
They finally reached Hometree, Sarah noticed Jake's confusion and tried to sooth him, "Be calm, Jake. They are going to judge us, but we have to do what they say, you need to listen." She warned.
Someone pushed her and she hissed, walking forward, entering the Omaticaya clan's home. Many touched her and she lowered her head as to not disrespect them. "Release them, release them." Neytiri grabbed Jake by the arm, while Sarah walked with her head low.
"Father, I see you." Neytiri lifted her finger to her forehead and dragged it toward him in a respectful motion.
Eytukan stared at Jake, before glancing at Sarah, who did the same gesture as Neytiri, softly saying, "Olo'eyktan, I see you." Sarah said with her head down, showing respect.
"This creature, why do you bring him here?" Eytukan asked, only announcing Jake's presence, Neytiri held her hand to her rib, "I was going to kill him, but there was a sign from Eywa." She leaned closer, "A sign for both of them."
"I have said "No dreamwalkers will come here." He interrupted.
Tsu'tey stared at Sarah, remembering their childhood times, however he hated how close Jake was when he asked her, "What's he saying?" Asking again, annoying her. "His alien smell fills my nose." The men of the clan laughed, "My father is deciding whether to kill you."
Jake blinked, Sarah shook her head, "Jake, no!" She whisper shouted behind him as if reading his mind."Your father. It's nice to meet you, sir." Sarah pulled him back by the arm, the clan hissed at him, one putting a knife to his neck. Who winced at the cold feeling of the blade at his throat.
"Release this creature! Step back!" Mo'at warned.
She spoke enchantingly again, "I will look at these aliens." Her legs led her to circle around Jake, touching his queue before feeling his tail, who froze in his spot. "What are you called?" Mo'at asked Jake.
"Jake Sully." He answered.
The Tsahik struck him with her makeshift needle, tasting his blood for any pureness, "Why did you come to us?" Mo'at asked another question. "To learn." Making Tsu'tey and Eytukan exchange knowing looks.
"We have tried to teach other Sky People. It is hard to fill a cup which is already full."
Jake gave a surprising answer, "Well, my cup is empty. Trust me. Just ask Dr. Augustine. I'm no scientist." Sarah's ears pressed against her head, as she lowered it in shame. "What are you?" Mo'at tested, "I was a Marine. A- a warrior of the jarhead clan."
"A warrior? I could kill him easily!" Tsu'tey took threatening step forward, as Eytukan held him back with a hand, "No!" Many cheered for Tsu'tey as he and Sarah made eye contact, not breaking it this time. "This is the first warrior dreamwalker we have seen. We need to learn more about him."
They broke it when Mo'at spoke, as Sarah looked down.
"My Daughter, you will teach him our way, to speak and walk as we do." Sarah's eyes widened and she turned to Jake with a relieved expression.
"Why me? That's not fair." Neytiri complained, her mother raised her hand to silence her, which worked as Neytiri growled out in frustration. "It is decided. My daughter will teach you our ways. Learn well, Jakesully. Then we will see if your insanity can be cured." Mo'at nodded to Neytiri, who took him away.
Sarah was confused, what was she still doing here?
"Come with me." Mo'at instructed, surprising her, but Sarah followed, avoiding Tsu'tey's gaze as she walked up the stairs with Mo'at. They stopped inside her hut, confusing Sarah. "We have been awaiting your arrival, Sarä." Sarah's eyebrows narrowed.
"Why?" And Mo'at looked up, a bit of weakness in her eyes, "As you know, Sylwanin had passed and she was next in line for Tsahik." Sarah nodded, sadly, having been Sylwanin's friend. "My Daughter cannot carry this position, she does not want to. I took notice that you and Tsu'tey see (like) each other." And Sarah widened her eyes, having an idea of where she was going with this.
"And he is chosen next in line for Olo'eyktan." "You want me to become Tsahik?" Sarah asked, which Mo'at nodded slowly.
Sarah looked down, "I'm sorry for interrupting.."
Mo'at chuckled, shaking her head. "You are so kind and honest, Sarä, more honest than the aliens that you were born with. We were thinking of bringing Grace back." She looked down at you.
"Have you talked to him?" Which Mo'at responded with a nod.
"He had admitted his feelings for you, the day we buried Sylwanin." Mo'at turned and put each of her hands on both shoulders, "It took us some time after recovering from her death but we chose to accept his proposal, all there was was for you to come back and accept him."
The Tsahik turned her head, Sarah heard light footsteps and widened her eyes, not turning her head. She heard more footsteps except they grew faint, which meant Mo'at left her.
"I see you, Sarah." Tsu'tey did the sign, as Sarah turned towards him, surprised by his very being even close to her.
"I see you, Tsu'tey." She did the sign back. Looking into his eyes, they both felt a spark that made them more drawn to each other, Tsu'tey took her hand and smiled a smile that he used when he was younger, making Sarah smile back.
"I hope you can accept me to be your mate-to-be." He pressed his forehead with hers.
