Chapter 2 : Fighting Monsters in Another World

3rd POV

In the chaos and gruesomeness of a battlefield where the combined force of the Templar Knights and Mages, as well as a few Adventurers of Ingrassia, fought, was one place that strangely was filled with utter silence.

The three adventurers were staring at Paradex, none of them moved a muscle while they heard and saw the chaos around them.

"Oh, for god's sake, I died two fucking times. Isn't that too much?!" The Mage of the Adventurer Group stood up blatantly, cursing, no wonder, as it must have been immense pressure on the human mind to feel two deaths in a row.

"You must be Retro," Paradex said with a blank face after seeing his behavior

"Shouldn't we do something about our situation first? Not going to lie don't wanna die here yet"

The swordsman picked up his sword

"Uwhhaa... my son didn't make it!" the last one of them, a short heighted girl, said in the old-fashioned Rimuru manner

Paradex sighed. "You guys.." he seriously couldn't believe how calm the three were? Was it just because of the shock or adrenaline? Do they feel like Isekai MCs, or did their brains take a severe hit? He couldn't know.

"Oi, don't make that face! It must be Para.." Retro declared

"Don't throw me in the same pot as those two useless; I'm elite, by the way," The swordsman said and quickly looked over the battlefield.

"I just wanted to say that line once!" the girl complained. "Naara, here-desu!"

"Don't do that," the other three males said with a somewhat disgusting look on their faces.

Meanwhile, several kinds of monsters lured in and used by the lesser demon destroyed the defensive barrier the mages put up on a whim. Usually, Goblins, dire wolves, and horned rabbits weren't strong enough to destroy it, but it was thanks to their berserk status that they gained ridiculous strength.

"Soldiers prepare for close combat!?!!!" The Shout from the leader roared around the battlefield.

"Let's keep it short. I'm indeed Paradex, but for now, we need to focus on defeating that lesser demon," Paradex said with a tense body as he felt somewhat slightly nauseous because of the dense Magicules in this place.

"He's right; without us, I don't think we would have enough power to overpower a demon anymore; we have too many casualties by now," Elite mentioned

"I'm more specialized to deal with single enemies," Naara said. "Should I take care of the dire wolf alpha?" she proposed

"Sounds good; how about you, Paradex? You're from the Templar Knights do you know any Holy Magic?" Elite asked

"If you guys have faith in me, I might be able to defeat the Demon, but I need time," Paradex said in a severe manner indicating just how serious this situation was despite all the jokes earlier.

Unique Skill : Faith

This Unique Skill allows Paradex to gain strength [Holy Magic] according to the people that set his Faith in him. Not only that, but he has a Resistance to [Demonic Energy].
